Electro-prog rock Venezuelan band from Maracaibo, Zulia, formed by the end of 2008 by Leandro Angarita and Jesús E. Cordero, the band was complete some time after by the inclusion of Juan Manuel Rodríguez on drums and Lusby Portillo on bass guitar to completely form PETRULA. Their First EP titled "Piraña Punk Destroyer" was finished July's 3th of 2009, which is available in the band's websites.

Sept. 30th 2011 was the official release of their first album "Oración Polígota Para Salvar el Mundo". They're currently working on new material and performing for their growing audience.

Banda Venezolana de Rock Electro-Prog originaria de Maracaibo, Estado Zulia y formada casi a finales del año 2008 por Leandro Angarita y Jesús E. Cordero, a los que se sumaron, meses después, Juan Manuel Rodríguez y Lusby Portillo para fundar PETRULA. El 03 de Julio de este año 2009 fue terminado su primer EP titulado "Piraña Punk Destroyer", el cual está publicado y puede ser descargado en los sitos web de la banda.

El 30 de septiembre de 2011 fue el lanzamiento oficial de su primer album "Oración Polígota Para Salvar el Mundo". Actualmente están trabajando en nuevo material y realizando conciertos para el pueblo Marabino.
