Yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Bending corners in the-
(Oh yeah, uh, whoa, whoa, oh yeah)
(Mh, bending corners)
(Whoa, whoa, oh yeah) Yeah
(Whoa, oh yeah, whoa, oh, yeah)

Bending corners in the Rover, hope I don't crash the rental
Ice make her drop to her knees, we at the temple (mh, bending corners)
Boone off the Xan, sleeping at the drive thru menu
She addicted to the sossboy, was all in you
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you

She's afraid of the sossboy, what's stalling you?
Ball like I'm Jackie Robinson, I'm 42
She gon' pull up thirty minutes like I ordered food
Stacking all this paper like I'm getting bored in school
Ain't gon' be no drama, baby, I got whores that's cool
She wan' be my baby mama, yeah, of course you do
Man, you know I'm on a mission can't abort too soon
Man, you know I got to get it, that's what I'm born to do

Bending corners in the Rover, hope I don't crash the rental
Ice make her drop to her knees, we at the temple (mh, bending corners)
Boone off the Xan, sleeping at the drive thru menu
She addicted to the sossboy, was all in you
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you (mh, bending corners)
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you
(I'm calling you)

Ain't no cap in my rap but these niggas lie
Yeah, my cousin in the trap, he say this his life (mh, bending corners)
See that crackhead across the street, we really outside
See that yellow tape on the road do to gun fire
It's hard to wake up some days but at least I try
When I wake up every day, man, some nigga died (mh, bending corners)
You gon' lie to my face, look me in my eyes (in my eyes)
Swear when a nigga keep it real
I be looking so surprised, yeah (so surprised)

Bending corners in the Rover, hope I don't crash the rental
Ice make her drop to her knees, we at the temple (mh, bending corners)
Boone off the Xan, sleeping at the drive thru menu
She addicted to the sossboy, was all in you
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you (mh, bending corners)
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you
I don't want that ho, baby girl, I'm calling you
(Mh, bending corners)

(Mh, bending corners)
(What he say?)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to "42" by Pi'erre Bourne express his experiences and thoughts on his lifestyle and success as a rapper. He sings about the danger of his lifestyle, driving a rental car recklessly and hoping not to crash it while under the influence of drugs like Xanax. The lyrics also reference his sexual encounters with women, describing how his wealth and fame make them "drop to their knees" and follow him to the Temple (a reference to a strip club in Atlanta). Throughout the song, Pi'erre emphasizes his desire for authenticity, declaring that he does not want to be associated with "hoes" and that he values honesty and realness above all else.

In the chorus of the song, Pi'erre references Jackie Robinson, the first African-American to play in Major League Baseball. Robinson wore the number 42, which Pi'erre uses to symbolize his own success as a black artist in the music industry. He highlights the harsh realities of life outside of his success, referring to the "yellow tape" of crime scenes and the loss of life that he sees around him.

Overall, "42" by Pi'erre Bourne captures the complex feelings and experiences of a rapper who is both celebrated and challenged by the lifestyle of fame and success.

I don’t know if you’ll ever see this but it’s worth it 🏁💜

I typed all this to show how much I love Pierre, I know he won’t see it or ever will see it but I wish I could reach out to him to come sort of way and lock in with him fr, from all the songs/beats I’ve heard by Pierre he is one really talented man & sweet man.
Nobody can change the fact that I truly love him as an artist and as a genuine human being, He takes the time out of his days and nights to perform all of the sossboys & sossgirls and I APPRECIATE that. Don’t call me a simp for supporting the man I love and support.
Another reason Pierre is such a fun and nice guy is because he’s been through things but he doesn’t let it bring him down, he keeps his head high and that’s what we all need to do. Pierre has hella potential & has been really successful and I support him for that.
I don’t care if I meet him or not, I would just love to sit down and have a genuine person to person conversation with him, virtual or in person I’ll always be the first person to stick up for Pierre if anyone down talks him, yeah ofc I’m a fan why wouldn’t I be.
Some people have introduced me to Pierre and I used to turn him down instantly but I honestly regret that past decision because he’s really the only artist I could listen to and sit through his albums, he grabs my attention..voice, beats, and just music itself. I look up to Pierre as best & well as I can.
I always keep the soss in me, DEAD or ALIVE! 🏁🖇💜

~Love, Sossboy Cory! 🏁
