In these lyrics, Pitou describes her willingness to give her lover everything she has to offer, even if it may not seem like much. She acknowledges that she doesn't have the power to give her lover everything in the world, but what she does own, she offers it to him. Pitou invites her lover to live in this space she offers, to take it and make it his own. Although the space may decay, he can always return to it, and she will always be there for him. Through these lyrics, Pitou seems to be conveying that although she may not have much, she is willing to give everything she has to this one person, even if it means sacrificing what is left of herself.
