Very happy to hear this song again. It still holds up all these years later. Many thanks for sharing it here, Plasterscene Replicas. Great single to open GLOW. Cheers!

A Canadian classic. This number--complete with the video--really takes one back to a time and place, and truly represents the Canadian 'take' on the alternative rock sound that was starting to take off during this period. The Plasterscene Replicas are in the same category with Sons Of Freedom, REM, The Pixies, Sonic Youth, The Jesus & Mary Chain, etc. I noticed just the other day how one young lady blogger listed Glow as one of the 100 greatest Canadian albums ever. Smart teenager.

This song is one of my 5-Last-Songs-I-Hope-To-Hear-When-I'm-Dying, such pure beauty. Never understood why Plasterscene Replicas didn't become the biggest band in Canada, such gorgeously aching brilliant joy

As someone who was about 18 and into hard rock and metal when this song was played regularly on Much Music, I found this song to be a strange favorite of mine. Still love it to this day. It's so likeable, it has a neat texture to the music. Even the video is so memorable for me. A solid track.

RIP Charlie Salmon - amazingly shortlived, but influential band.
