The last part of the video, was the original parts of the castle. I also noticed a lot of Art Nouveau details in the first dining room ( It was probably a breakfast room), and in a few of the bedrooms. Also Art Deco.
The long cord hanging in the last bedroom you checked out, would be connected to a bell system, it was designed to call on the servants when they needed their service.
The dayroom with what you thought was the four seasons in the ceiling showed not just the 4 seasons but also images from other countries. (Pyramids are usually connected to Egypt and South- Amerika, and more of them are being discovered all over the world.) Astonishing work of art!! <3
I think I even saw a reference to the Freemasons in that ceiling.
The picture from WWII was what I belive, a picture of Mussolini at the start of his facist regime.
Old noble families often leaned towards facism at that time, due to their upbringing.
Not all of them, but some.
Some were forced to side with him, to not lose their properties and lives.

It was fascinating to see, the castle is like a mausoleum or a time capsule of days gone by.
I was surprised to see so little damage to it, especially to the furnitures.

That would have to be the most amazing finds yet. This one is right up there. Loved the the wall art. Amazing stuff left behind. I felt that those bedrooms and the adjoining dining rooms were dedicated to certain family members over the years. As there seemed to be certain previous pictures of family who may have had those rooms in their lifetimes. And those TUNNELS! oh my gosh it's another world down there, and rather creepy too. governments are working on razor thin budgets, they don't have the money to maintain them, there are hundreds of castles around Europe, privately owned; some investors acquired them restored them and transformed them into hotels, the return on investment is not good, very little profit they are expensive to restore, many were restored and put on the market, they are hard to sell and whoever buys them make them a target for kidnapping and all sorts of crime; there's an oversupply of luxury real state and not enough buyers

There has to be a way to solve this. It is a matter of priorities. Are we to be rushing towards the future or will we choose to honour and understand our history. These abandoned buildings are screaming for our attention. They are saying very clearly, this is what comes of unhinged wealth. Not a gradual succession of inheritance and improvements in the standards of living for everyone, over the generations. Instead we see evidence of abrupt devastation left to Nature's untiring hand. Any answers we have as to why, can only be sketchy at best, but if we don't try to understand and resolve this now, for future generations, then I can only imagine our great great grandchildren starring awestruck at the glass/steel/marble/
temples of today, wasted away in front of them.
The public and private sectors, who together hold unimaginable wealth by any standard, must choose to do the right thing: come together for the common good. I don't see any other way.

Just as i thinking why not tourist setup,cleanup, so money can come donations help preserve this place for times ahead for ppl appreciate of times past. Just when I think you can't possibly outdo your previous explorations of the great Castles of Europe, you go and excel all others before it! This is the most incredibly beautiful and completely intact Castle you've ever explored! Fabulous, Leslie ❤️. I would watch a 4 hour video had you offered it..Absolutely amazing. I don't know who could just leave everything behind like that - even the photographs, their family's very memories. Tch Tch. The furnishings are at grave risk of losing them forever as the roof decays further and further - and that would be such a tragedy. But the slowe decay is partly what makes your explorations so precious and meaningful.

The air flow helps to keep the house from getting mold. A lot of these old places have the windows open for that reason, Especially in humid climates.

What a wonderful find. Well done. Its a real ancient gem. Ninety mins just flew so fast. I was mesmerized all the way through. The beautiful ceiling remined me of the home I lived in in the 1980's seven floor derelict building above a shop in West Flanders Belgium that I had whole access to and I tried exploring the above floors a few times. Maybe you can do a part two for all the rest of the vast amount of details. I particularly loved the mesmerizing hypnotic painting of a manor on the fireplace. The dusky bronze looking atmosphere in the painting is very beautiful. I would love to have that on my wall for the sunlight to reflect upon it. The tunnels were very cosy but scary. Thank you for your bravery.

Although it is a century old abandoned castle, I can say that it is Very prestine, the ceilings are very nice, so facinating, the furnitures are great and the walls have a beautiful designs and colors, nice paintings too, so amazing castle with everything inside besides that the other valuables were stolen. I cannot believe this beautiful castle, it is timeless. I am amazed at the antiques and the beauty, the ivy growing through the walls reminds me of the Sleeping Beauty tale. The peacocks are telling on you , little guardians. I've have never seen such beautiful clocks. The ceilings are like a chapel. The lady of the castle was very pretty. Italian Architecture some of the best in the world. The ceilings are amazing and you can see the love of the art that is put into the construction of these fantastic pieces. In fact I would go as far as saying just Superb in some cases. Impressive dungeon I must say one of the best I have seen in a while. Well done for all your efforts especially in the dungeon area. When the light went out that was scary! lol

Thank you for this trip in history castle. Armchairs and sofas are upholstered in a wonderful silk jacquard from a factory in San Leuco, Campania. This silk was bought by all the kings of Europe.

Just watched and enjoyed it so much.All the antiques were amazing the hand made furniture is the most amazing I’ve ever seen. I noticed lots of glassware that was probably worth lots of money it’s a shame it’s just sitting there to ruin , thank you so much for exploring this marvelous place and all the other places. ❤

It is an truly a magnificent and epic castle. It has a long history and encompasses centuries. Although, it’s been renovated a number of times they’ve managed to keep areas authentic to the century it was built. This place is truly incredible! I'm having a glass of wine while I'm watching just so I can get the full effect of this amazing place. The tunnels under the castle are incredibly creepy. They would make for the world's scariest game of hide and seek ever! I'm so glad to hear that someone is there to keep an eye on this place now. Hopefully, all of the beautiful antique furniture and other items can be restored to their former glory.

The balls at the legs of an upholstered chair is part of what design commonly used in the Chippendale style from 1700s to 1800s with its ball bottomed tipped legs. That type of furniture belongs in a museum. So beautiful!

I love the way you guide us around these beautiful Palaces and Castles, you are always 100% respectful to the properties you visit. I think the fire was burnt on a later day, the picture of the two females listening to the violin and the fireplace blocks are clean and not burnt. Happy New Year !!!

It's so amazing that this place is like taking a walk back hundred of years ago . I dream of places like this. The huge pieces of furniture are worth a fortune here and such beautiful woodworks amaze me. I can image children hiding in them playing go seek. Lovely video thank you for this walk back in time.

Yes, that was creepy down in there especially when he lifted that drain and went down further. As an old lady, I wonder if a lot of those tunnels weren't built during the 2nd World War?

OK just to help you understand, because a room has a dining table doesn’t mean it was a dining room, most rooms of the period had tables for conversation, Day rooms, Card room, Reading room etc, love theses investigations you do great work
