No More Pain
Point of Grace Lyrics

She has a song in her heart
And a golden disguise
Her body is torn because age doesn't heal
She's not letting on
About the pain that she feels
But she knows in her soul
That it won't be too long
To carry her home...
[Chorus]
Where there will be no more pain
No more sorrow
No more waiting
For illusive tomorrows
There will be no more pain
No more dying
No more striving or strain
No more pain
My mind's eye remembers the trouble I've seen
All I have been through,
And how I long to be free
But I learn by her patience that I need her resolve
To wait for the opening of eternity's halls
And I know that in time we will stand side by side
When Jesus comes back receiving his bride
[Chorus 3X]
No more pain
The song "No More Pain" by Point of Grace depicts the story of an old woman who is enduring physical pain from her aging body. The woman is portrayed as having a song in her heart and a golden disguise, which suggests that she is hiding her true emotions and pain, likely due to her strong faith. Despite her suffering, she knows that her time on earth is limited and that Jesus will soon return to take her to heaven where there will be no more pain. The chorus repeats the phrase "No more pain" to emphasize the relief that awaits her in the afterlife.
The singer also reflects on their own experiences and how they long to be free from their own troubles. However, they learn from the old woman's patience and resolve to endure the pain while waiting for the opening of eternity's halls. The lyrics imply that the woman's faith and trust in God give her strength to persevere through the pain, and the singer looks up to her as an inspiration to do the same.
Overall, the song's message is one of hope and comfort in the face of physical and emotional pain. It reminds listeners that there is a greater purpose and reward awaiting those who endure the trials and tribulations of life, and encourages us to have faith and trust in God's plan for our lives.

Remeber this song from when I was a young tween. My Gradfather was dying and I was awake sitting by his bedside along with the hospice nurse and I played this song for him and sang it to him. He went home a few days later, and I know he suffers no more. This song will always hold a special place in my heart.

Played this at my momma's memorial service. She had a special spot where she would read by the window and I always think of her sitting there. She never complained, was a true servant of God, always doing for others. I am so glad she is at peace resting in the arms of Jesus. I can't wait for our Blessed Hope when we can all go home. I feel the time is short. We are the generation that will see Jesus' return. The generation that saw Israel come back home in 1948. I can't wait! Just a little while longer!
