En diciembre de 2007 nace una idea en el corazón de Orlando Avalos y Diego Escobar (batería y guitarra respectivamente), de crear un nuevo sonido para innovar la escena musical de El Salvador, a ellos se les unen Geovanni en el bajo. En los primeros meses logran conseguir un sonido post-rock que los lleva a crear su primer canción, “Poly”, preocupados por la frecuente violación de niñas. En febrero de 2008, se les une Marco Umaña en la guitarra segunda, dándole un toque mas peculiar a la banda ya conformada por los cuatro. En los siguientes meses crean, Inecuaciones, una creación lírica de Avalos que habla a cerca de lo que en realidad es creer en un ser supremo, junto con otras creaciones que en total son cuatro. La banda se constituye con un sonido post-rock experimental, ya que ninguna canción se parezca a la otra, lo que hace que sea interesante. Polly class posee influencias diversas que varian desde el rock progresivo psicodelico de pink floyd y the doors, hasta el punk rock de los noventas pasando tambien por el brit rock oscuro de joy division, jesus and the mary chain y the cure.
