In 2006 the Pop It Off Boyz were formed into a group. This was a group full of hits that touched down on every aspect of music. From Hard Rap,To Hop-Hop, Ad Even getting into R&B. They were very well know on sites like soundclick, spityogame, and more sites for unsigned artist until about late 2006 when Lil Action of the Pop It Off Boyz created the first hit single that got them signed to the major label none other then Universal.Motown Records. As you very well know, "Crank Dat Batman" was one of the hottest dances out in 2007. Crank Dat Batman did very well in record sell giving the Pop It Off Boyz a golden record to be proud of. Now they are venturing into a brand new year, now style, and bigger things!
HOW THE POP IT OFF BOYZ BEGAN! How did the Pop It Off Boyz become a group? Simply friends that had a love for music, a drive to succeed, and a big dream of making it big! Banga and Lil Action being the members of the group were the closest of the group. It all started in the garage of Lil Action's grandparents. They made just enough space for them to put a computer, a table, and a light in the garage for the boys to work with. But no matter there surroundings, they made the best out of it. For those who have followed the Pop It Off Boyz since the beginning would know there first R&B song they did entitled "3 in da Morning" which was created in the garage. By the end of summer 2006 Lil Action had departed there hometown Carbondale,Il and headed back to Lithonia,Georgia. Distance never stopped them from doing what the love to do best neither, but used todays technology to send there music to each other to do unfinished tracks. By 2007 that was put to an end with Lil Action and Banga living together in Carbondale,Il. WORKING HARDER,THEN HARD WORKIN'! Summer 2007 is when things got hard for Banga And Lil Action. On top of going out into the world and independent adults, paying for their own living, being a music artist and going through lifes everyday hassle made things a little frustrating. They didn't have access to a professional studio in the small city of Carbondale so Lil Action being the producer of the Pop It Off Boyz knew exactly where to go and what to get to start their own studio to record. By this time, they were recording songs in Lil Action's bedroom of his apartment. Restless nights, they stayed up for days straight making songs. By 2008, the had moved their studio twice. No days off, no procrastination, no other thoughts in their mind other then making hits. Pop It Off Boyz did everything for themselves, building their own fan base, paying for every peice of equipment they needed, and making their own connections with other celebrites, etc. 2009, is their official year of uprising for the Pop It Off Boyz! They Are Now Releasing their new hit single "She Da Baddest".Their Album will be coming out JULY 3,2009. So be looking out for that!
