the story was okay-ish. But you absolutely cannot just slap SCP in there and expect it to work. First of all, it's not a SCP because it's not in the foundation database, would you kindly give me the number of the pop-it? And you express zero uniqueness of the foundation, the neighbor just know about SCP which mean it's public knowledge, no amnestic was given to anyone. You can substitute the foundation with any secret organization from anywhere else and the story will work just fine.
