growing up in Dallas, this is the only version we know. Influential 50,000 watt KLIF 1190 who covered all of north Texas and southern Oklahoma played this all the time. I finally heard Count Five's version in the 80's and it sounds uninspired and limp in comparison - and as a result probably why it didn't get Texas airplay. Kudos to the kick @$$ Tyler, Texas garage sound of Robin Hood Bryan's hit making studios. The closing photo with the classic KLIF staff in the studio is a treat. Rabbitt rocks!

One of many utterly stupendous singles on the HBR label. Pitting it against the Count Five original on Double Shot is an exercise in futility, though. They're BOTH great!!
