Not exactly, but good ear. Digital sampling wasn't invented in the early 70s. The two recordings do share the same riddim (or instrumental track), which is usually called the Sidewalk Doctor riddim. I think the first use of the track was on Phyllis Dillon's "Woman of the Ghetto." I could be wrong. The Prince Francis, Jackie Mittoo, Tommy McCook and I-Roy uses of the riddim all came out soon after.
The Prince Francis song is my favorite use of the Woman of the Ghetto / Sidewalk Doctor riddim.
