Obtuvo reconocimiento por su primer single «Mi Only One», lanzado en Youtube el año 2017. En 2018 lanza su Mixtape Del Cielo con producciones de Gianluca, OSSA y con una colaboración de la francesa Lean Chihiro. Su sorpresiva fama la hizo enfrentarse a una gran cantidad de comentarios negativos y prejuicios, sobre todo a su imagen corporal y a su música. A este último se le suma su colaboración con la reconocida cineasta Marialy Rivas con obras como Joven y alocada y también Princesita.
En diciembre de 2018, sacó a la venta su sencillo «Summer Love» (en colaboración con Gianluca, y producido por Francisco Victoria), el cuál escaló rápidamente en la lista de charts en Chile, en Spotify junta un total de más de 500.000 oyentes mensuales. Con una alta presencia en redes sociales, Princesa Alba, ha ganado varios seguidores y seguidoras, todo esto de la mano de su estilo, que ella define como alternativo y colorido. Tal como el anterior, sus singles «Convéncete» y «Hacerte Mal» han poco a poco, consolidado su figura como un estandarte firme de la nueva escena urbana del pop Chileno.

The first few lines of the song "Narcisa" by Princesa Alba DUDA BEAT talks about fashion and the singer's need to look good with make-up, contour, and gloss, and wearing a mini skirt while going out alone, and not looking for love. She then goes on to say that sometimes she questions how she can love herself so much, but when she looks in the mirror, she knows she is charming. The chorus talks about her being in love with herself and asks, "Narcisa, what's wrong with that?" It seems like the message of this song is about loving oneself completely and not feeling the need to look for validation from someone else.
In the next verse, the singer talks about hearing a voice calling her, and she realized it was herself. She wanted to be with herself because there's no better company than oneself.
