Good for you! We have 19 years difference and doing great. I also love having the financial comfort of a 40 year old married woman without waiting for it years and years. What's wrong with that? We have a great relationship, child and have been 11 years together already. Yes, I had daddy issues, so what? It's also great to say that I was able to afford all the therapy I needed to mature, which probably wouldn't have happened if I married someone young and broke, which would make our relationship very hard. He even scrap pieces of paper that he had written my Hotel phone numbers on, after he received the information from dispatch depending on which City I was dispatched in with the City's name, Hotel name and room number. If you look at statistics, these types of relationships are extremely rare, because most women do not want an old man (when she’s 50, he’ll be 68!!).

My mom married my stepdad whos 21 yrs older but issue is that he never did anything. She did all the indoor and outdoor chores. I've known many more young ppl (late teens, early 20's) who were preyed upon by men in their 30's, 40's, and 50's who turned out to be abusive but who could only trick an inexperienced, gullible young person into what devolves quickly into a hostage situation.
