Su primer tema musical que se dio a conocer en la década de los años 80', fue "Secreto amor" que tuvo mucho éxito en Bolivia y depués en el extranjero.
Además han sido ganadores del Disco de Oro, Disco de Platino, ganadores del Cantaro de Plata y varios otros premios más.
A finales de la década de los 90', su líder y vocalista Yuri Ortuño se separa de la agruapación, debido a que se convitió a la religión evangelica protestante y en solitario sus canciones son dedicadas a Dios, alabanzas con estilo folclórico.

Esta canción la conocí al día siguiente de la tarde más triste que sentí cuando una persona que yo amaba por circunstancias de familia se marchó. Sentí tanta impotencia de no poder seguir tras de ella , pues estaba empezando mis años de Universidad, sin embargo como es el lado bendito, que ese tema desconocido hasta entonces tocó en la radio y me reconfortó y alivio totalmente. Grande y Magnífico tema de "Proyección".

Una tarde más sin ella, añoranzas, una canción con mucha sinceridad, el amor sano es así, tal vez ya no será...pues la vida es así, es bueno decir adios si es que ya fue...pero hermoso recordar mientras duró...a veces es mejor terminar si es que el amor no prosperó...es que al conocer bien a esa persona te diste cuenta y vaya decepción...sólo recordar con mucho cariño mientras duró. Saludos desde el barrio de Independencia-Lima, es una canción entre tantas que aprendí guitarra. Maravillosos años aquellos.
