do I do?

When your love's not around

I feel lost, then I'm found

But then I wonder

Is he the one?

Or am I just having fun?

But I love the way he holds me tight

And the way he makes everything alright

But he's selfish

And he knows that I love him, baby

But he's selfish

He won't let me be his lady

In these lyrics, Queensberry expresses the conflicting emotions she experiences when her partner is not around. She admits feeling lost without him and at the same time acknowledging the possibility of only having fun instead of finding true love. However, despite the confusion, she enjoys the comfort he offers when he is around and how he makes everything alright for her. Unfortunately, her partner is portrayed as a selfish individual who is aware of her love for him but still refuses to let her fully be his partner.
