It's hard to find anyone or anything that is truly honest and trustworthy.

It's difficult to know who to believe when dishonesty and corruption are so widespread.

I'm calling for a revolution, a significant change in society.

We must take action to make things better.

They keep selling me on T.V.
Advertisers and manipulators keep trying to convince me of things through the media.

About the communist plan
They try to scare me with stories about communism and socialism.

And all the shady preachers
Religious leaders who are not honest and have questionable motives.

Begging for my cash
They keep asking me for money.

Swiss bank accounts while giving their secretaries the slam
They're storing their money offshore while mistreating their staff.

They're all in Penthouse now
They're all living luxuriously now.

Or Playboy magazine, million dollar stories to tell
They have plenty of scandalous stories to share to make money.

I guess Warhol wasn't wrong
It seems that Warhol's statement about everyone having fifteen minutes of fame was accurate.

Fame fifteen minutes long
People will do anything for their brief moment in the spotlight.

Everyone's using everybody, making the sale
Everyone is manipulating and using each other to make money and gain power.

I used to think
I used to believe in something.

That only America's way, way was right
I thought America's way was the only correct way to do things.

But now the holy dollar rules everybody's lives
Money is now the most important thing in everyone's life, even more than morals or values.

Gotta make a million, doesn't matter who dies
People will do anything to make a lot of money, even if it means sacrificing others' lives.

I strongly believe that it's time for a major change.
