Couldn't find the energy to fight
The call of the tunnel's light
So I just rode that wave
And at the epicenter of this euphoric transfer
A choir of angels awaited me
A joy like no other swelled on my spirit
As the choir began to sing
Face down Ass up
Face down Ass up
Doo Doo Brown
Monastery, Chicken head
Bust a Juke, hit the Jit
Cabbage patch, Bankhead
Butterfly, Tootsie Roll
Lean wit' it rock wit' it
Do the jerk, hit the Whoa
Pee-wee Herman, Charlie Brown, Raise the roof
Running man, Roger Rabbit, Dougie dance
Stanky Leg, Cat Daddy, Ambulance
Back when it was Black & Mild
Stylin' when the tip was wood
Went to the a V & J live in Brooklyn feelin' good
Work was only kinda play lazin' 'bout the neighborhood
Now I live no lookin' back wouldn't change it if I could
Uncle say, "Come holla at me" I got somethin' you should know
If you want for livin' happy gotta let them feelings go
Lock it 'cause I love it nappy, let my armor grow
For when them black/white ratios look like dominoes
In this bitch no vamanos
Low the ledge we cut it all kinda close
Problematic fake woke used to chasin' bank roll
For gold spokes, gold teeth, green leaf, and a freak
Face down Ass up
Face down Ass up
Doo Doo Brown
Monastery, Chicken head
Bust a Juke, hit the Jit
Cabbage patch, Bankhead
Butterfly, Tootsie Roll
Lean wit' it rock wit' it
Do the jerk, hit the Whoa
Pee-wee Herman, Charlie Brown, Raise the roof
Running man, Roger Rabbit, Dougie dance
Stanky Leg, Cat Daddy, Ambulance
Shower after bein' out for hours how my spirit feel
On that mission buildin' with my niggas just like Key and Peele
Dancin' with a shorty at this party felt like glory road
Golly 'til somebody started shootin' now we gotta go
Runnin' up the block like those camera man on the Maury show
Showin' love to everyone I come across like glory holes
Happy that we made it home can't believe I'm still alive
Life or death decision when I simply planned to step outside
Move my feet for all the slaves that got theirs taken
Face down ass up, watchin' Netflix naked
Clouds swayin' I can clearly hear God sayin'
Face down Ass up
Face down Ass up
Doo Doo Brown
Monastery, Chicken head
Bust a Juke, hit the Jit
Cabbage patch, Bankhead
Butterfly, Tootsie Roll
Lean wit' it rock wit' it
Do the jerk, hit the Whoa
Pee-wee Herman, Charlie Brown, Raise the roof
Running man, Roger Rabbit, Dougie dance
Stanky Leg, Cat Daddy, Ambulance
Beat up, beat up, go Deebo
Clean up clean up, no P.O.
Learn 'em, lead 'em, my Neo
Get up, get out like the G-O
Chilly chillins stay frio
Meet up, greet up, play T.O
Keep it funky, straight be up
Stay 'bout the money casino
Beat up, beat up, go Deebo
Clean up clean up, no P.O.
Learn 'em, lead 'em, my Neo
Get up, get out like the G-O
Chilly chillins stay frio
Meet up, greet up, play T.O
Keep it funky, straight be up
Stay 'bout the money casino
These are rough diamonds we buyin'
Through the muck and the mire
I don't have to tuck in my shine I'm good in my shire
Got a comb stuck in my lines man fuck it you right
Got a pair of J's the colorway, J get my shot
Her hair laid, Pink Lotion like strawberry milk
These kinda waves got it workin' with the Burberry silk
If I'da invented, started twerk, twerk, I'm upping the price
They want no spice, pet a pussy for luck, these fuzzy dice
I see the God in us, it's incredibly clear must be they fear
To be young rich and black I'm a melanin man
My record clean they run with pores
But they can't call the sauce
The crowd roar, I wear my church suit in court
That's how I walk, yeah
Face down Ass up
Doo Doo Brown
Monastery, Chicken head
Bust a Juke, hit the Jit
Cabbage patch, Bankhead
Butterfly, Tootsie Roll
Lean wit' it rock wit' it
Do the jerk, hit the Whoa
Pee-wee Herman, Charlie Brown, Raise the roof

The song Living Happy by Quelle Chris, Chris Keys, Joseph Chilliams, and Cavalier is a reflection of the joy that comes from living life to the fullest without allowing external factors to bring one down. The song begins with a description of a near-death experience in which the singer sees a vision of heaven and hears a choir of angels singing. The chorus, "Face down ass up, Doo Doo Brown," seems to be a juxtaposition that is not related to the angel's message but is used to emphasize the idea of living life freely and joyfully without worry about the perception of others.
Throughout the song, the lyrics touch on a variety of topics, including nostalgia, self-love, and perseverance despite external pressures. The verse that starts with "Back when it was Black & Mild" talks about how life used to be easier, but the singer wouldn't go back in time because they have grown and overcome challenges. The chorus emphasizes the idea of joy and playfulness when faced with difficulties by listing various dance moves and party references. The song reminds listeners that even in difficult times, it's essential to find joy in life and to let go of worries and fears to live truly happily.

My mom is probably coming off of life support in just under a week. She is intubated in the ICU with heart failure and likely brain damage. I’m blessed to have my wife of just over one year by my side as I have no other family.
I’ve been helping her for years with her health issues and I am about as prepared for this as one man can be. This is the great tragedy of my life thus far. I am in a place of deep pain and of deep love. It is not hellish though, praise God for this!
I say this all to make sense for you the profound nature of the relationship I have with this song. I didn’t seek it out! I had subscribed to this channel a long time ago and I almost never get notifications for it but when this track dropped I saw it right away and it has soothed my aching heart. The beauty of this song pulls me through my pain, if but for a breaths width, and softens the edges of my moment by moment experience of life.
Thanks 🙏 ✌️ ❤️ 🖖
Edit: my mother passed peacefully while I held her hand a few days ago. I love her so much

Yeah, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Yeah, yeah
I'm so grateful, so grateful to be alive
But alive ain't always living, sometimes niggas just survive
Day to day
Plate to plate, two piece and fries
Or the steak with leaves on side, sometimes low and sometimes high
I'm so thankful for these people by my side
Lord, I know what I done wrong, tryna be what I done right
Veinticuatro, siete días, me, oh my
You can keep the feast and wine, I just want my peace of mind
Ooh, ooh, ooh
Oh yеs, sir, it happens
Go from FOMO to F-O-H, full Dr. Manhattan
Present thе elegance of pain, the posture for passion
The rebirth, the passing, the green earth amassing
Open these palms of mine, let the stars align
Had to work hard to see the God in me, but I know it's time
Man, we tryna get up top, keep reachin', shit, I'm tryna peak the mountain too
If everything happens for a reason, I ain't really got shit else to do
But be grateful, grateful just to be alive
But alive ain't always living, sometimes niggas just survive
Day to day, plate to plate, two piece and fries
Or the steak with leaves on side, sometimes low and sometimes high
I'm so thankful for these people by my side
Lord, I know what I done wrong, tryna be what I done right
Veinticuatro, siete días, me, oh my
You can keep the feast and wine, I just want my peace of mind
Ooh, ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh
My nigga, look
I could write the book how fit he got just walking city blocks
Bottles poppin' off, so many lost, plenty, my memory's shot
Turning cold shoulders to warm shoulders, forgive me not
I watched the pot, still boiled fast, look at your ass, just like your pops
Apples don't fall far
Shackles and family scars, tobacco by the carton for him
The cologne, beg my pardon if the smell does offend
Mi compadre and cadre, rang me up on a dark day
Said, "Here's some notes, need to make some bold decisions
Call your folks while they still living, let them know you right here with them
Don't go ghost, hold tight that love you been given
Takes work to hang ribbons in the sky, now why you gon' let that go up in smokes?"
Heaven knows time flies
Take a penny, leave a penny, skip a meal to feed the many
I plead the fifth and better believe me, I only want for what is needed
I ain't too proud to be defeated, just get back up on my feet to say
I'm grateful, grateful just to be alive
But alive ain't always living, sometimes niggas just survive
Day to day, oh, plate-to-plate, two-piece and fries
Or the steak with leaves on side, sometimes low and sometimes high
I'm so thankful for these people by my side
Lord, I know what I done wrong, tryna be what I done right
Veinticuatro, siete días, me, oh my
You can keep the feast and wine, I just want my peace of mind
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Yeah game

It's never easy dealing with the loss of a loved one. Your words really resonate with me because I went through the same thing with my pops and now I'm going through it with moms. But this song really hits home with me too. Sometimes it helps to remind ourselves that it's never a goodbye it's a see you on the other side. Anyways... I wish you well hope you're alright. Don't be a stranger. If you ever need a strange stranger don't hesitate to reach out. I'm in south ATL. ✌️
