Uber's running hella late, that's two stars (two stars)
Got a session in North Hollywood, that's too far
This day's not off to a good start (no, no)
Phone's blowing up like hot air balloon (hot air balloon)
It's like my friends really don't think I got shit to do (shit to do)
Got a album on the way, I'm a busy dude
Now I know why CEO's drinking at noon
You're going on and on, asking favors
Damn, now my time's stolen
I wanna help, swear I got the best intentions
But right now, I need a moment
I need a minute to myself (I need that minute, minute)
I need a minute to myself (no, no, no, no, no, no) (yeah, let's go)
Afternoon and I'm feeling zombie (zombie)
Swear I'm moving too slow, I'm too sloppy (sloppy)
Tryna find some patience like the Lord taught me (Lord)
Eyes barely open, man, I need some coffee
So I pull up to the shop on the corner
There's no line, I walk straight in and I order
I get my drink, turn around and hit the door when
Somebody stop me and they claiming that they know me
And they going on and on, asking favors
Damn, now my time's stolen (stolen)
I wanna help, swear I got the best intentions
But right now, I need a moment
I need a minute to myself (I need that minute, minute)
I need a minute to myself (get up, get up off me)
I just need a minute, I just need like 60 seconds
I just need a minute, I just need like 60 seconds
I just need a minute, I just need like 60 seconds
I just need a minute, I just need like
I need a minute to myself (I need that minute, minute)
I need a minute to myself (get up, get up off me)
I need a minute to myself (I need that minute, minute)
I need a minute to myself (get up, get up off me)
I just need a minute, I just need like 60 seconds
I just need a minute, I just need like 60 seconds
The lyrics to Quinn XCII's "60 Seconds" paint a picture of a busy and overwhelmed artist who is constantly being pulled in multiple directions. The song starts off with him being blocked in his driveway by two cars and his Uber being late, leading to frustration and a bad start to his day. His phone is constantly ringing with friends asking for favors, while he has an album on the way and a session in North Hollywood that he needs to get to. As the day progresses, he feels like a zombie and desperately needs a caffeine fix, but even at the coffee shop, he cannot catch a break as someone recognizes him and starts asking for more favors.
Through it all, he remains polite and understanding but realizes that he needs a minute to himself to catch his breath and recharge. He repeats the phrase "I just need a minute, I just need like 60 seconds" throughout the song as a plea for some space and peace of mind. He acknowledges that he wants to help his friends and has good intentions, but he also needs to take care of himself.
Overall, "60 Seconds" is a relatable song that speaks to anyone feeling overwhelmed and in need of some breathing room. It highlights the importance of self-care and taking breaks, even when there seems to be no time for it.

I love how relatable the song is, I saw Quinn talking about the songs on the album and he said this one was inspired by his actual morning when he went to the studio to record. How his car was locked in the driveway by his two roommate's cars, how he had to use uber, how they were super late, and how the studio was over an hour away from where he lived. I think because it's his actual morning it makes the song even more relatable, everyone has days where it just feels like everything's against you, and ever possible thing that could go wrong goes wrong. Love it!

Best soundstage I've ever heard in a song. The backup vocals in the chorus are center front, bass is everywhere, the main vocals are in your ears. My mom asked if I was using surround when I was using 2 speakers.
