He started DJing professionally at the age of 16, and has since gone on to DJ many, many events in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States, where he moved in 1996 at the age of 18. Along the way, he collaborated with many artists and performers from across the world, on both the underground and professional levels, and was featured as an on-air personality/DJ at WWPV 88.7 FM, Burlington, VT, from the fall of 1996 to the summer of 1997.
The city of Orlando, Florida has been Legend's home away from home for the last few years, and he has established himself as an important part in the city's musical culture. He has been featured many times in local Orlando publications, including print and web media such as Business Week and many more. He has organized, hosted, and performed in several local Hip-Hop events and shows at the House of Blues, Tabu, AKA Lounge, Will's Pub, The Social, Back Booth, and the University of Central Florida, from which Legend graduated in 2002 with a B.S. in Management Information Systems. He has also performed at shows in Chicago, Atlanta, New York, and many other U.S. cities.
In January 2002, Legend and partner Eric Casey (aka E-Cleazy/Eva Clear) started Eyesomnia Productions, an immediately successful company providing production services to Hip-Hop and R&B artists across the globe. With the introduction of new partners, Eyesomnia Productions eventually evolved into Eyesomnia Enterprises by 2004. Under the Eyesomnia label, Legend has sold thousands of his independently-produced albums, EPs, and singles. In addition, there was the rise of Urban Legacy with partner D-Light...Orlando’s OutKast.
Qusai received his MBA from Webster University in Orlando in November 2004. He also released his second solo LP, The Rebirth of Kamelion: American-Made, Arabic Original, the following July. He is the co-founder of the first Saudi Arabian Hip-Hop company and group Jeddah Legends in January 2007, and one of the known Hip-Hop movement leaders in the Middle East. Qusai has worked with MTV Arabia as a host for the Hip HopNa Show, and through that journey he became a pioneer in finding the perfect blend and niche between Arabic music and hip-hop. In July 2008, Qusai has released what is considered his first official album all around the Middle East market after singing with Platinum Records (MBC Group/Dubai, U.A.E). The album sold thousands of copies in its first week, becoming the number-one on the Middle East Top Charts with couple of music videos in hand. However, this is still only the beginning for Don Legend, whose alias "Kamelion" accurately describes his ability to adapt to and overcome any obstacle or situation in his way. His love and passion for the Hip-Hop culture and music defiantly describes him as a historian and an ambassador for this game.
