Why?
R.I.O.T Lyrics

Grandmama said
Sip on your youth
Relish it with your food
Careful who you share it to
Cause people can spit venom too
Funny how it works that way
How they pray good fortunes kiss you
'Til they hate you for being you
Don't let evil eyes confuse your truth
Mija understand
Ego is death
And so is ignorance
Protect your own intelligence
Use skepticism with kindness
Funny how it works that way
How they pray good fortunes kiss you
'Til they hate you for being you
Don't let evil eyes confuse your truth
The line might seem blurred
Between selfishness and
Self preservation
If you can't
Carve your own path then
Love begets starvation
Love begets starvation
Funny how it works that way
How they pray good fortunes kiss you
'Til they hate you for being you
Don't let evil eyes confuse your truth
Funny how it works that way
How they pray good fortunes kiss you

'Til they hate you for being you
Don't let evil eyes confuse your truth

Overall Meaning

In R.I.O.T's song "Why?", the singer expresses their frustration with their partner's lack of action and passive demeanor when they feel wronged. The repeated question, "Why?", implies a sense of confusion and disappointment as the singer confronts their partner's behavior. The lines "It's not a spell or a curse you put on me / Or the way you smile so tenderly" suggest that the issues in their relationship are not superficial or easily dismissed. However, the singer still wishes that their partner would display more emotion and passion - even if it means getting angry and causing a scene.

The lines "Oh how I wish it was those dishes you were throwing / Damn you for being so easygoing" and "Whatever happened to fiery romance" indicate the singer's desire for a relationship that is intense and passionate, even if it means more arguments and fighting. The final stanza emphasizes this frustration, as the singer accuses their partner of "sowing" negative behavior and not taking responsibility for their actions.

Overall, "Why?" is a song about the complexities of relationships and the frustration that can arise when one partner feels they are not being heard or taken seriously. The repeated questioning of "Why?" suggests a sense of incredulity - the singer cannot understand why their partner is not responding in the way they want them to.

The one hp midlaner starts to sweat as the ward crawls closer and closer....

Oh boy, he coming!

CryoChick

OH LAWD SHE COMING

H T Spencer

You know, given the intense move speed debuff from being a ward, I dont mind this at all! I think its a pretty good tradeoff.

Milzis Akmens

honestly it makes a lot of sense. turrets are not programmed to hit wards, and since neeko can’t hit the turret anyway, it makes it more authentic and gives options for outplays.

RuWan

lol nope

Milzis Akmens

@RuWan very well thought out response, thanks

pedro nabais

people are worried about bveing dived by a moving ward with 200 ms that is one shot by almost everything

Impostor Braum

@pedro nabais exactly, neeko is squishy as f. Her in ward form and under tower aren't a great combo.
