The lyrics to R.S.G.'s song Reset depict a person who has decided to move on from a toxic relationship. The singer is tired of their partner, acknowledging that they were not good enough for them. They suggest to end the relationship and implies that it’s better this way. They reflect on their past where they felt trapped, and they couldn't breathe, and they hope that the difficult days will end soon.
The singer then turns their focus to their phone and online profiles, once again highlighting the theme of moving on from the past. They feel that the photos they kept, the time spent on social media, and all the effort put into maintaining a virtual identity, were all pointless. They even hint at possibly deleting or resetting their social media profiles in a metaphorical sense. The idea is to start afresh without the baggage of the past. The singer is done with their partner and is looking forward to new relationships.
