The policeman gets in his car
The law enforcement officer enters his vehicle

And gets right on the phone
Immediately picks up the phone

Backing up, shaking his head saying
Reversing the car while disapprovingly nodding

"Let me get my crazy ass home"
I need to hurry home

And his wife picks up and says
His spouse answers the phone

"Darlin' where have you been,
"Honey, where were you

i've been worried about you"
I was concerned for your safety

And he says "Police business, honey, I can't wait
Responding with "It's work, dear, I'll tell you all about it soon"

to tell you what I've been going through"
To explain what's been happening to me

She says "Are you okay?" "Yes"
"Are you alright?" "Yes, I'm fine"

Do you need anything?" "No"
"Do you require anything?" "No, thank you"

"Well, I baked you a pie" "Mmm"
"I made you a pie" "Mmm, sounds delicious"

"Your favorite: Cherry"
"I made it with your favorite fruit: cherries"

Then he said "I'll be there soon.
He replied, "I'll be there shortly

Sorry I kept you hanging"
Apologizing for keeping her waiting

Then she said, "Honey, don't worry about it
She responded, "Don't worry about it, dear

Just take your time, I still got some cleanin'"
"No rush, I still have some cleaning to do"

Now meanwhile Misses Roseys back at Gwen's house
In the meantime, Miss Rosey is at Gwen's house

Tellin it all
Revealing all the details

She said "I knew there was something about that policeman
"I suspected something was off about that law enforcement officer

I started to cut lose my dog"
"I almost lost control and let my dog attack him"

Gwendolyn looks at her and laughs and says
Gwendolyn chuckles and responds

"Miss Rosey you are nuts"
"Miss Rosey, you are insane"

And i say "all I wanted to know
And I said, "I just wanted to know

was what was you gonna do with that spatula"
"What were you planning to do with that utensil?"

And then we all laughed
Then we all laughed together

Tron says "shes a G no doubt"
Tron comments, "She's a gangster without a doubt"

Now lets head right back on over
"Now, let's return to

To the policeman's house
To the law enforcement officer's residence'

He pulls up in the garage
He parks in the garage

She doesn't expect for him to come that soon
She was not anticipating his arrival so soon

She rushed to the door
She hurried to the entrance

kisses him on the cheek and says "I was in the restroom"
She pecks him on the cheek and explains, "I was in the bathroom"

Then he said "Whatcha say that for?"
He responded, "Why did you mention that?"

And then she says "I don't know"
She admits, "I'm not sure"

Then he step back, look at her and says
He takes a step back, examines her, and says

"Whatcha all jittery for?"
"Why are you so nervous?"

Then she says "Sweetheart, maybe it's that time of the month"
"Honey, maybe it's because of my menstrual cycle"

Then he says "Maybe? Maybe that time of the month?"
"Just a maybe? Just that time of the month?"

And then shes says "You know what I mean"
She insists, "You understand what I'm trying to say"

He says "I know what came out yo mouth"
"I know what you said"

He said that "you said maybe
He recalls that she said "maybe

Then she says baby," he walks in the house
She says "baby," then he enters the house

She tries to lead him upstairs
She attempts to direct him upstairs

But he goes straight to the kitchen
But he heads straight to the kitchen

She says "Hun, I bought you some pears"
She says, "Sweetie, I bought some pears for you"

And then he said "I'ma heat this chicken"
"I'm going to reheat this chicken"

Then she turns around thinking to herself
She turns away and thinks to herself

With this weird look on her face
Sporting a strange expression

Then he screams "Woman, what wrong witchu,
He shouts, "Woman, what's the matter with you

why are you walking back and forth, pacing?"
Why are you pacing and walking around?"

Before she answers she's thinkin' to herself
Before she can respond, she's contemplating to herself

"What am I to say?"
"What should I say?"

Because the truth of the matter is
The fact is

that she just slept with another man today
She had sexual relations with another man earlier that day

And he started calling her name
He begins calling her name

"Bridget, I know you her me"
"Bridget, I know you hear me"

But she can't turn around
But she can't face him

Because the truth on her face
Because the truth is written on her face

He will see it
He will notice it

Then he screams "Bridget"
Then he shouts, "Bridget"

"Yes""Look at me"
"Yes""Look at me"

Bridget turns around and then he says
Bridget turns towards him, and he says

"Whatcha got up your sleeve?"
"What are you up to?"

She's scared out of her mind
She is terrified

Stuttering and shaking and
Stammering and trembling

still talking about some pears
Still discussing the pears

He starts screaming saying
He begins to yell

"Woman Im not going up no stairs"
"Lady, I'm not going upstairs"

Now he's got a funny feeling
Now he has a strange sensation

Something just don't seem right
Something doesn't feel correct

He's looking at her while she's backing up
He's staring at her while she's retreating

Then he says "With all my might,
He declares "With all my strength,

Woman, I swear I'll shoot somebody
"I promise, I will shoot anyone

if you been doing wrong"
If you've done something incorrect or immoral"

But little does he know
However, he is unaware

somebody is still right there in his home
That somebody is still inside his home, and he's unaware of their presence
