Well, here we are the four of us,
The singer and the woman he is with are shocked to find themselves in a room with two other people.

in total shock me and her,
The singer and the woman both feel surprised and overwhelmed by the situation.

I close my mouth,and swallow spit,
The singer becomes speechless and nervous.

as I'm thinking to myself this is some deep shit,
The artist realizes that the situation is very complicated and serious.

then I said so your gonna tell me he's the one
The artist questions one of the other people about who they have been talking to.

The singer questions who one of the other people have been conversing with.

There is a disagreement between two of the people about who they have been talking to.

he says it's the truth,
One of the people insists that they are telling the truth.

I yell "all of y'all asses crazy,
The artist becomes frustrated and exclaims that everyone is insane.

let me up out this door", cause this is way more than I bargained for,
The artist becomes overwhelmed by the situation and wants to leave.

and then she says wait,
One of the people stops the singer from leaving and asks them to stay.

I'm sure we can all fix this,
One of the people believes that the situation can be resolved.

then I said i'm late,
The singer tells the others that they have to leave and don't have time for the situation.

Cause I ain't got a damn thing to do with this
The singer asserts that they are not involved in the situation and should not be held responsible for it.

Then she said wouldn't you like to know
One of the people asks the singer if they want to know how the situation started.

just how it all begin,
One of the people wants to explain how the situation started.

then I thought to myself and said quick you got 3 minutes,
The artist agrees to listen to the explanation but doesn't want it to take too long.

then it got real quiet
The room becomes silent.

I said somebody start talking,
The singer urges someone to start explaining the situation.

then she said
One of the people starts to speak.

"My God Ruphus, I got just one question,
One of the people asks Ruphus a question.

How could you do something like this i'm so hurt!
One of the people is hurt by Ruphus' actions.

he looked at her and said bitch please you got yo nerve,
Ruphus responds disrespectfully to the woman who is hurt.

with all yo club poppin', lying sayin' you was shoppin',
Ruphus accuses the woman of lying and being unfaithful herself.

and now here you are in our home, and you calling me wrong,
Ruphus is angry that the woman is accusing him of being unfaithful after she has also been unfaithful.

she said ok you busted me,
The woman admits to being caught cheating.

and that much I agree,
The woman agrees that she has done something wrong and is at fault.

you caught me cheating,
The woman admits to having cheated on Ruphus.

but this a little extreme,
The woman believes that Ruphus' response to her infidelity is excessive and unreasonable.

he said you are my wife,
Ruphus reminds the woman that they are married.

sleeping behind my back,
Ruphus is angry that the woman has been unfaithful to him.

and now I come home and you got him in the closet,
Ruphus is surprised and angry to find the other man in his home and hiding in a closet.

how extreme is that?
Ruphus believes that the situation has gone beyond what is appropriate or reasonable.

She says but she's a he,
The woman reveals that the person in the closet is actually a man.

then he says please you can't judge me,
Ruphus claims that he cannot be judged for his actions or beliefs.

she says Ruphus this is crazy,
The woman believes that the situation has become insane or unreasonable.

and I said stop arguing,
The singer tells the others to stop fighting or arguing.

I did not stay here to hear y'all chew each other out,
The singer came to the room to learn about the situation, not to listen to the people argue or fight.

so get to the point,
The singer urges the others to explain the situation clearly and concisely.

or I swear I'm out,
The artist threatens to leave if the explanation is not given soon.

excuse me please,
The artist asks for a moment to interject.

but I think I can explain what's going in here,
The singer offers to provide an explanation for the situation.

my name is Chuck, and I've been knowin' Ruphus for bout a year,
Chuck introduces himself and explains that he knows Ruphus.

at midnight creeping around with him it's been a living hell,
Chuck reveals that he has been sneaking around with Ruphus at night and it has been a difficult situation.

sneaking in and out of hotels,
Chuck and Ruphus have been secretly spending time together in hotels.

I said brother spare me the details,
The artist does not want to hear any more information or details about Chuck and Ruphus' relationship.

then Ruphus said Chuck please, don't say nothin' else,
Ruphus does not want Chuck to reveal any more information about their relationship.

then she screams Ruphus you son of a bitch,
The woman is angry with Ruphus and calls him a derogatory name.

and he says Cathy go to hell,
Ruphus responds with anger and tells the woman to go to hell.

I said I thought you name was Mary,
The singer is confused because the woman was previously called Cathy but now seems to be called Mary.

that's what you said at the party,
The singer heard the woman introduce herself as Mary at a previous social event.

man this is getting scary,
The artist feels frightened by the situation.

I'm gonna shoot somebody
The artist becomes violent and threatens to use a gun.

Then Ruphus starts yellin' and screaming
Ruphus becomes emotional and begins to shout and scream.

saying Cathy this is all yo fault,
Ruphus blames the woman for the situation.

she throws a pillow at him
The woman becomes angry and throws a pillow at Ruphus.

and says you was creepin' too the only difference is you didn't get caught,
The woman accuses Ruphus of also being unfaithful and hiding it better than she did.

Chuck screams out we're in love
Chuck declares that he and Ruphus are in love.

Cathy says love my ass
The woman responds with disbelief or skepticism to Chuck's declaration of love.

Ruphus say they gettin' married
Ruphus announces that he and Chuck are planning to get married.

then I shoot one in the air,
The singer fires a gunshot into the air to cause a disturbance or to threaten violence.

then I say not another one of you sons of bitches say a word,
The singer threatens the others not to speak or else there will be consequences.

cause all of this shit I'm going through is unheard,
The singer feels that the situation is unfair and unreasonable.

grab my cellular,
The artist picks up their phone.

sayin' this is so wrong,
The artist expresses their disapproval of the situation.

call up my home,
The singer calls their own home.

and a man picks up the phone
A man answers the phone when the singer calls home.
