1.) Roar is the art pop project of singer and multi-instrumentalist Owen Evans from Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Evans started the group in 2010 following the dissolution of his former band Asleep in the Sea. Although he is often the sole performer in his recordings, he is supported live by a large roster of musicians, including members of Andrew Jackson Jihad.
Evans' songwriting influences include '60s pop/psychedelic music and '80s and '90s rock and indie artists. His first EP, I Can't Handle Change, was released on March 14, 2010. It was followed by a second EP, I'm Not Here to Make Friends, on February 28, 2012. Evans' latest release, the Dream 7" split single with Gospel Claws, was released on President Gator in October 2012.
2.) Roar is a hardcore punk band from Karlovac, Croatia. Its members are Cvite (vocals), Zdravac (guitar), Damba (drums), and Mikša (bass).
3.) Roar is a funk rock band from Munich, Germany. They released an album in October 2010.

Scientific flaws with this video:
Katy Perry has blue eyes and claims to have the "eye of the tiger." However, it is impossible for tigers to have blue eyes as the green and brown pigments are what grant them low-light vision.
Lions do not roar. Though lions have been known to growl, they actually do not roar. This is something tigers and jaguars do, not lions. Lions actually sleep 18 hours a day and have no natural predators. As such, they have no need for roaring as it would just rouse the pack and/or reveal their positions to their prey.
Elephants do not have the capacity to provide a shower. Elephants can store incredible amounts of water and are known to spray upward of 10 gallons; yet the propulsion through which they expel the water is too powerful to allow for sustained periods of pressure. Furthermore, it expels air in shooting the water and would suffocate.
Katy Perry appears to be opening an alligator's mouth. This would not happen as alligators have jaws capable of pulling several hundred pounds. I understand this video is trying to portray Katy Perry as superhuman, but with that body she couldn't pull this off. Gator wrestling often uses restraints or trained gators. Very rarely is one actually wrestled.
The teeth of the alligator are visible when the mouth is closed. Due to the shape of the snout, we can determine this is an alligator. However, an alligator's teeth are covered by the lip lining of the alligator when its jaw is closed. Come to think of it, alligators do not close their mouths in the sense that humans do. They clench their mouths so as to avoid consuming unwanted animals or their own young unexpectedly. So how the hell did she open it?!
Moving cave images: Just no. Perhaps she ate some hallucinogenic berries, but I doubt it. Just no.
The message of the song is that she proves stronger than tigers. This is symbolized by her wearing tiger skins. However, these are leopard skins. Tigers have stripes, leopards have spots. The people making this video really need to get their shit together.
Wait... is she wearing makeup? Where could she obtain this? The pigments and various materials used in makeup are largely artificial and require presses. But fuck that, let's just say she doesn't even know how to make makeup.
Going back to the clothes... I doubt she knows how to knit. Hell, I doubt she has the means to knit. And if she really did defeat the animals needed for clothing, why not make an overcoat or something more comfortable and less revealing? Skimpy clothing doesn't protect from mosquitoes and she's not impressing anyone. It's very clear that she is alone in the jungle.
Which brings me to my next point. There are no lions in the jungle. Lions live in the Savannah and grasslands. The expression that they are the "king of the jungle" is not a reasonable basis on which someone may write a song.
Come to think of it, she should just be dead. I'm not even going to analyze her showdown with the tiger. She would run out of food and die. Hell, she'd go insane and die. She'd probably look for ways to kill herself. SHE. IS. DEAD.

After the huge number of fuck-ups with tiger textures, they finally get it right in the "Roar" ending sequence. So did they think they were wrong before? Wrong afterwards? Do they just not notice. Why don't they check these things?
