Recently, she has worked on upcoming video game projects developed by companies such as Tencent, Hidden Path Entertainment, Real Game Machine, NatGames, Nexon, Indago VR, Hawkward Studios Inc, No Cartridge Inc, and Triune Games. She also recently collaborated with Orchestral Tools to create a state of the art vocal sample pack in their Organic Samples series which is set to release in 2022. Over the past 5 years, Rachel has composed the scores or contributed vocals for various documentaries / docu-videos, podcasts, events, TV broadcasts, and short films.
In 2019, Rachel received a career development grant from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts to intern at Henry Jackman’s Sacred Tiger Music, a film music studio that operates out of Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions in Santa Monica, CA. During her time there, she had the opportunity to learn directly from top names in the industry.
Additionally, Rachel was a participant at the Hollywood Music Workshop in 2018, receiving training from renowned composer and orchestrator Conrad Pope and Grammy-winning arranger and composer Nan Schwartz.
Rachel holds a B.A. in Music from the University of Calgary as well as a Professional Certificate in Composition for Film and Television from Berklee College of Music.
