Not being content with singing in front of the mirror Rajiv started to showcase his talent at his local high school and immediately received tremendous acclaim for his soulful and smooth voice. As a perfectionist, Rajiv strove to improve his raw talent by taking singing lessons with a locally well-known teacher as well as attending a theatre school in order to hone his acting and dance skills.
Throughout his teen years Rajiv performed in public, often singing songs by admired artists, such as Craig David, Brian McKnight and Luther Vandross. Growing up, Rajiv began to write his own music, taking inspiration from the world of R’n’B, Pop, Hip Hop and Rock music. This eclectic musical taste is evidence of his open mind to the music industry and can be heard in his own composition style.
Supported by his family and friends, Rajiv started studying at a music college in Sidcup, which he currently attends as a student of Multimedia Design. This has given him a greater insight into the music business and has furthered his interest in production and music technology whilst giving him the opportunity to compose, produce and record his own songs.
Rajiv’s concentration is currently focussed on his degree and on creating music for his demo album, which he is writing the songs for, composing backing tracks and producing the work too. He is also expected to perform his new tracks at public events in and around London, so watch this space, as Rajiv will soon be bringing down the house at a venue near you!

Insecure
Rajiv Lyrics

So bad
So bad
Don’t even know the reason
Why I’m so sad
So sad
Can’t talk about it
Cause nobody gets it
So nobody notice
Maybe I’m broken
Don’t know how to fix it
I feel like I’m dying
Is there more to living
Why am I
So insecure
Can I pull myself out
I’m not sure
Don’t know what
I’m searching for
Will I ever find it
I’m not sure
Don’t think anyone don’t like me
As much as I don’t like myself
No
Why am I
So insecure
I don’t want to feel like this no more
Ladti rahoon mein (I keep fighting)
Apne hi saath (With myself)
Hoti mein jaaoon Khud ke khilaaf (I am turning against myself)
kise sunaau (Whom should I tell)
Kaise bataau (How do I tell)
how I’m feelin’ right now
kahaan mein jaau (Where do I go)
Maybe I’m broken
Koi bacha le (Someone save me)
Mujhe bata de (Tell me)
You’re gonna be fine
Why am I
So insecure
Can I pull myself out
I’m not sure
Don’t know what
I’m searching for
Will I ever find it
I’m not sure
Don’t think anyone don’t like me
As much as I don’t like myself
No
Why am I
So insecure
I don’t want to feel like this no more
Rajiv's song "Insecure" is a poignant and relatable exploration of the feelings of self-doubt and insecurity that can plague anyone at some point in their lives. The opening lines of the song set the tone, as Rajiv sings, "I just wanna feel good, so bad, can't even talk about it, cause nobody gets it". This sense of isolation and inability to articulate one's emotions is a common experience for many people struggling with their self-image.
As the song progresses, Rajiv expresses his frustration with himself, singing "Maybe I'm broken, don't know how to fix it, I feel like I'm dying, is there more to living". The repetition of the phrase "I'm not sure" underscores the uncertainty and confusion that often accompanies feelings of insecurity. Despite his internal struggles, Rajiv still puts on a happy face for the outside world, singing "So I keep on smiling, so nobody notices".
The song's chorus, which repeats the question "Why am I so insecure?", is both a cry for help and a recognition that there may not be a straightforward answer. The bridge, sung in Hindi, adds another layer of emotional depth to the song, as Rajiv grapples with conflicting feelings of self-acceptance and self-loathing.
Overall, "Insecure" is a moving and heartfelt representation of a universal struggle to find self-confidence and inner peace.
