Meant to Be
Randy & the Wolfpack Lyrics

Jump to: Line by Line Meaning ↴

You'll figure out in the middle of your lifetime
There's a puzzle piece that's really out of place
cnd if you ask about the reason for your lifeline
Someone else is gonna tell it to your face

We know they come and go as if they know the answer
Even though we know they haven't got a clue
But it doesn't stop the spreading of the cancer
Because the cure is just belief in getting through

I thought my life was meant to be
I thought my life was meant to be
I thought my life was meant to be
Until they stole my harmony

cnd when you think you have the answer to your question
They're gonna try and lead you up into the brink
Until the day that you can make your own suggestion
You're gonna wonder if it's what you're supposed to think

cnd what about all the orders that were given?
cnd what about all the borders that were crossed?
cnd what about all the sinners being forgiven?
cnd what about all the winners that were lost?

I hoped my life was meant to be
I hoped my life was meant to be
I hoped my life was meant to be
Until they took my soul from me

I know my life was meant to be
I know my life was meant to be

I know my life was meant to be
So take your bitter with the sweet
cnd I'll let it ride on your defeat
