Pescod started out in the early 2000s with a series of Drum & Bass releases under the moniker of DJ Clipz. By the end of the decade, he had developed a different garage/house-based sound under the name of Redlight. 2010 saw Redlight's rapid rise with the release of two dance floor destroyers. The first, 'Stupid' on Digital Sound Boy featuring the vocals of Roses Gabor. The second 'What You Talking About!? on Chase & Status' More Than Alot imprint, which saw the return of Ms Dynamite.
Redlight also released via Digital Sound Boy, 'Source 16' & 'Progress', as well as selectively remixing some choice artists from Ceelo Green to Mavrick Sabre to Ms Dynamite as well as continuing to produce tracks for some of the most promising up and coming UK acts.
The Redlight sound is spreading fast with his unique DJ sets throughout the UK and Europe and with his bi-monthly Rinse FM show this ensures people are sitting up and paying attention the World over.

I've seen both sides of town
I've been through the hardship
The long way around
The point of no return
That's just where I begin
I spent a lot of time with all seven deadly sins
Hated who I was
Lost my faith in God
Put my faith in cocaine
Cheated on my girlfriends
Lied to myself
Put my whole family through hell
When the dust settles down
You've seen where you've been
You're runnin' on empty
Broken within
When the dust settles down
There ain't nothin' left
Turn it around
Start over again
And when you have nothin' left
Find out what you're worth
I came through the storm
Stopped diggin' in the dirt
I rewound the tape
Saw through the evil and hate
Started believin' that I had what it takes
I went back to the start
Workin' full shifts through the worst shit
Kickin' carpet and bouncin' punks at the bar
I got a new life now
Now that I'm legit
You can call the cops man
It don't mean shit
When the dust settles down
You've seen where you've been
You're runnin' on empty
Broken within
When the dust settles down
There ain't nothin' left
Turn it around
Start over again
When the dust settles down
You've seen where you've been
You're runnin' on empty
Broken within
When the dust settles down
There ain't nothin' left
Turn it around
Start over again
Start over again

Start over again
Start over again
When the dust settles down
You've seen where you've been
You're runnin' on empty
Broken within
When the dust settles down

Start over again
Redlight King's song "When the Dust Settles Down" is about a person who has gone through a rough patch in life, hitting rock bottom, and starting over again. The first verse talks about the struggles the main character has been through, including experiencing the hardship of life and losing faith in God. The second verse speaks about the character's realization that they need to change their ways and start over. They begin to work hard and finally become successful, leaving their past behind.
The chorus emphasizes the importance of starting over again and not giving up, even when there seems to be nothing left. It signifies that there is always a possibility of rebuilding oneself after a downfall, but it requires effort and determination, as well as the ability to learn from past mistakes.
The song also highlights the idea that when one is at their lowest, they are forced to confront their true self, and come to terms with the errors of their ways. The lyrics reinforce the idea that it is never too late to make amends, build a new life, and change one's ways.
