Reece Mastin Lyrics

We've been apart for way too long
And I never thought it'd be so hard
I need the strength to carry on
Here comes one more sunset without ya
Are you seeing what I see?
Just like a spark
The stars remind me of you
Just like the night
Making its debut
You know stars remind me of you
Oh oh oh oh oh
Stars remind me of you
Your voice is kind now here on the phone
There's so much that I gotta say
Need you to know I want you in my arms
And I'm just counting down the days
There goes one more midnight without ya
Are you seeing what I see?
Just like a spark
A spark on the blue
The stars remind me of you
Just like the night
Making its debut
You know stars remind me of you
Oh oh oh oh oh
Stars remind me of you
Can you remember when
We'd wake up, make-up
Pouring down your face
You'd wanna break up
Over silly things
Oh oh oh, no no no
Now you call me
In the dead of the night
Tell me that you're
On the next flight home
Just like a spark
A spark on the blue
Stars remind me of you
A beautiful night
Making its debut
You know stars remind me of you
Just like a spark
A spark on the blue
The stars remind me of you
Just like the night
Making its debut
You know stars remind me of you
Oh oh oh oh oh
Stars remind me of you
Oh oh oh oh oh
Stars remind me of you
Remind me of you
The lyrics of Reece Mastin's song "Stars" speak of a strong longing for someone who's far away. The singer says that he/she can't take the other person's picture off the wall, even though they've been apart for too long. It's been hard to carry on without them, and the sunsets and midnights keep passing by without them. However, the singer finds solace in the stars that remind him/her of the other person. Despite being far away, they are connected through the stars and the memories they share.
The second verse suggests that the two have broken up before, over silly things. However, now the singer wants the other person back in his/her arms, and is counting down the days until they can be together again. The chorus repeats that the stars remind the singer of the other person, and the last verse implies that they may be reunited soon, as the other person is on the next flight home.
Overall, the lyrics of "Stars" paint a picture of longing and hope for a reunion, with the stars acting as a symbol of the connection between the two people despite the physical distance.
