Give me a break

I sit real still and pray and wait to hear your voice
I'm overwhelmed with all the constant crazy chaos
I wonder if we even have a choice
I know you hear everything
I know you see everything
So give me strength
To hold a thousand pounds and give me patience
Through eyes I've never know
So I can embrace the change I need to make
Cause it all starts with me
Give me peace
The weight of the headlines
Make it hard for me breath
Looking through a screen, I see a place I don't know
Give me the strength to stand for all that I believe
A place that you and me can be proud of
I know you hear everything
I know you see everything
So give me strength
To hold a thousand pounds and give me patience
To wait a thousand hours and let me see
Through eyes I've never know
So I can embrace the change I need to make
Cause it all starts with me
I'm fighting for betting days
And I'm asking you, Lord, please help me
Right the wrongs of yesterday
So all People and all children
Come together with their voices
All singing united, standing tall
Give me strength
To hold a thousand pounds and give me patience
To wait a thousand hours and let me see
Through eyes I've never know
So I can embrace the change I need to make
Cause it all starts with me
Give me peace
Give me peace
