I love the little skirt you wear she say she love it so long,
She don't wanna expose her hair, she don't wanna use dem skin care,
I love the way how she program a meditation so strong,
Wat a black woman yus, girl away you been so long,
A real woman yea, queen of the motherland, empress number one
Girl I wanna be your lover man eeeh
From the way I see you keep your skin tone
I know that you're not unbalance,
That's the way I know you rate your temple
Girl you're an example,
Woman I see the beauty in you
I see the future in you,
Woman I see a light in you,
I see true lovin' in you
Wat a black woman yus, girl away you been so long,
A real woman yea, queen of the motherland, empress number one
Girl I wanna be your lover man eeeh
She don't want to cream her hair she want it wrap up in a turban,
I love the little skirt you wear she say she love it so long,
She don't wanna expose her hair, she don't wanna use dem skin care,
I love the way how she program a meditation so strong,
Wat a black woman yus, girl away you been so long,
A real woman yea, queen of the motherland, empress number one
Girl I wanna be your lover man eeeh
Wat a black woman yus, girl away you been so long,
A real woman yea, queen of the motherland, empress number one
Girl I wanna be your lover man eeeh
The lyrics of Richie Spice's "Black Woman" express admiration and appreciation for a woman who does not conform to Western beauty standards. The woman he sings about does not want to alter her natural hair texture and prefers to cover it with a turban. Furthermore, she does not want to expose her skin to harsh chemicals and beauty products, and instead, focuses on her internal well-being through meditation.
Richie Spice sees this woman as an example of someone who values her body as a temple and takes care of it with wholesome, natural practices. He also refers to her as a queen and empress, emphasizing her regal and powerful presence in the world. Through his lyrics, the artist celebrates the beauty and strength of black women, while also encouraging them to embrace their natural selves and not conform to societal beauty standards.
Overall, "Black Woman" is a tribute to the unique beauty and self-love of black women who choose to break away from mainstream beauty standards and embrace their natural selves.
