Mitch serves as the band's vocalist and songwriter, while Nic is responsible for production, creating artwork, and writing guitar solos. Jakob contributes his unique perspective with a passion for lo-fi hip hop beats, which plays a crucial role in shaping the band's sound.
In late 2016, Cutts and Haughn began writing their debut album "RMCM" and recorded it in a small closet in Haughn’s basement for two months in 2017. The album was released on May 17, 2017, on the day the band graduated from high school.
After graduating high school, the friends attented different colleges and moved to different cities. Music production became a long distance deal. Attending college and traveling while pursuing music forced them to become organized, prepared and use online resources. They used breaks and weekends as recording and mixing sessions for the sophomore album "Solstice". They met at home over a break and recorded and mixed the album in its entirety in 16 days.
Their third album, "Subliming," was released on June 20, 2019, after over two years of long-distance collaboration. The album reflects the process of change, the relationship between the art and the artist, and the unique experience of being a DIY band.
