Not if my love can't bind your heart.
And there's no need to take a stand
For it was I who chose to start.
I see no need to take me home,
I'm old enough to face the dawn.
Just call me angel of the morning angel
Just call me angel of the morning angel
Then slowly turn away from me.
Maybe the sun's light will be dim
And it won't matter anyhow.
If morning's echo says we ve sinned,
Well, it was what I wanted now.
And if we're the victims of the night,
I won't be blinded by light.
Just call me angel of the morning angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby.
Just call me angel of the morning angel
Then slowly turn away,
I won't beg you to stay with me
Through the tears of the day,
Of the years, baby baby baby.
Just call me angel of the morning angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby.
The song "Angel of the Morning" by Rita Wilson is about a woman who's in love with a man, but she's aware that it's solely her decision to pursue him. She tells him that she won't hold him back or tie him down if he doesn't love her back. She makes it clear that she's willing to accept whatever the dawn might bring, and if they're destined to be together, they will be.
The lyrics suggest that their night of passion may have been sinful, but she wouldn't be ashamed or blinded by the daylight as a result. Ultimately, she hopes that the man will touch her cheek affectionately before leaving, and she'll be left to deal with the emptiness he leaves behind. The song dances around the idea that their love is fleeting, and they might have to part ways with only memories of the night they shared.
Overall, the song is a passionate confession of love and desire. It's about embracing the moment and the feeling of being overwhelmed by someone else's scent and touch. However, it also recognizes that not all love stories have a happy ending.

She stopped talking and then suddenly looked at her mom because her mom started talking. What is the big deal? Why the creepy music? I'm so sick of this stupid stuff.
@francie5161
Exactly!
@user-mx5hp6bf2i
I really don't understand why they try sooo hard to demonize her. The same exact look if it was Kate would have been titled as being beautiful, bright, etc. What a waste of time!
@patriciacourt5946
I totally agree with you there is no death stare she just stopped talking and looked at her mum when she was talking, I hate it when people keep making up stories about what they done or said and twist their words!
People should leave them alone…

They really try to sensationalize anything
@izzy4575
You haven’t noticed the split second rage directed at her mom for daring to speak and stear attention from Megsy?
@brightangel133
To all you haters- you’re crazy. She just looked her mother. There was no glare there. Get a life. Stop being mean. 🙄
@Canadianbatgirl62
I have to agree. It's just a look. She's not being disrespectful.
@suey9037
Couldn’t agree more. This Meghan hate is disgusting. Maybe she was listening to what the woman had to say. I don’t have anything invested in this emotionally, just sick of the hate.
