Rivvrs started his career under his first and last name, mostly because it felt natural as a singer/songwriter. But as time went on, this name started to feel like it was holding back the artist, so the band name changed to River Shiver; which is where the water theme came into play. As the band never really had a steady group lineup, the transition to Rivvrs was made.
