Williams has received a record 18 Brit Awards, winning Best British Male Artist four times, Outstanding Contribution to Music twice, an Icon Award for his lasting impact on British culture, eight German ECHO Awards, and three MTV European Music Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted the Greatest Artist of the 1990s. According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), he has been certified for 20.2 million albums and 8.66 million singles in the UK as a solo artist. Five of his albums have also topped the Australian albums chart, and has sold 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He also topped the 2000–2010 UK airplay chart. His three concerts at Knebworth in 2003 drew over 375,000 people, the UK's biggest music event to that point. In 2014, he was awarded the freedom of his hometown of Stoke-on-Trent and had a tourist trail created and streets named in his honour. Williams' thirteenth album, XXV was released on 9 September 2022.
After 15 years, Williams rejoined Take That in 2010 to co-write and perform lead vocals on their album Progress, which became the second-fastest-selling album in UK chart history and the fastest-selling record of the century at the time. The subsequent stadium tour, which featured seven songs from Williams' solo career, became the biggest-selling concert in UK history when it sold 1.34 million tickets in less than 24 hours. In 2011, Take That frontman Gary Barlow confirmed that Williams had left the band for a second time to focus on his solo career, although he stated that the departure was amicable and that Williams was welcome to rejoin Take That in the future. Williams has since performed with Take That on three separate television appearances, and collaborated with Barlow on a number of projects such as the West End musical The Band.

The thunder of a scream
And you realise that it was yours
You don't know what to tell them
'Cause you don't know where you've been
And you've been late so many times before
It's only natural to feel like you're sinking
Don't worry baby
If you get a little high
It's just a phase to get you through
Getting by
So you get a little restless
And you get a little wasted
It'sele disse que ela ta on medical leave but yes
She decided to quit just a little light entertainment
Embrace it
It might just save your life
You always say you're sorry
But you never know what for
And it's been happening more and more
Act your age and not your shoe size
And blah blah blah blah blah
That's your role model
Slammin' the door
So it's only natural to feel
The guilt of a nation
It's only human when your young
You're gonna cry
Don't worry baby
If you get a little high
It's just a phase to get you through
Getting by
So you get a little restless
And you get a little wasted
It's just a little light entertainment
Embrace it
It might just save your life
So where else can you go to
Cause no one's given you the book
About what to say and how to feel
And what you should and shouldn't have took
It's feelings that your fearing
That's why you step outside your mind
Don't look back
'Cause if you don't crack
You get to sing this lullaby
You get to sing this lullaby
In Robbie Williams's song Get a Little High, the lyrics describe someone who is struggling in life and feeling lost. The opening lines describe how the person wakes up in the middle of the night, having heard themselves scream, and they don't know where they've been or what to tell others. The chorus offers a message of comfort and reassurance, encouraging the listener to embrace their moments of restlessness and escapism, as they may be a necessary phase to get through life.
The second verse continues to describe the struggles of the person, mentioning how they always apologize but are uncertain of what they're sorry for. They seem to lack proper guidance, with no one having given them a book on what to say or how to feel. However, the song encourages them not to look back and to keep going, eventually leading to singing a lullaby.
The overall message of the song presents an understanding of how difficult it can be to navigate life, especially when feeling lost and uncertain. The song suggests finding solace in moments of escape, rather than feeling guilty or ashamed of them.
