Williams has received a record 18 Brit Awards, winning Best British Male Artist four times, Outstanding Contribution to Music twice, an Icon Award for his lasting impact on British culture, eight German ECHO Awards, and three MTV European Music Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted the Greatest Artist of the 1990s. According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), he has been certified for 20.2 million albums and 8.66 million singles in the UK as a solo artist. Five of his albums have also topped the Australian albums chart, and has sold 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He also topped the 2000–2010 UK airplay chart. His three concerts at Knebworth in 2003 drew over 375,000 people, the UK's biggest music event to that point. In 2014, he was awarded the freedom of his hometown of Stoke-on-Trent and had a tourist trail created and streets named in his honour. Williams' thirteenth album, XXV was released on 9 September 2022.
After 15 years, Williams rejoined Take That in 2010 to co-write and perform lead vocals on their album Progress, which became the second-fastest-selling album in UK chart history and the fastest-selling record of the century at the time. The subsequent stadium tour, which featured seven songs from Williams' solo career, became the biggest-selling concert in UK history when it sold 1.34 million tickets in less than 24 hours. In 2011, Take That frontman Gary Barlow confirmed that Williams had left the band for a second time to focus on his solo career, although he stated that the departure was amicable and that Williams was welcome to rejoin Take That in the future. Williams has since performed with Take That on three separate television appearances, and collaborated with Barlow on a number of projects such as the West End musical The Band.

There's nothing left for you to fear
Shake your arse come over here
Now scream
I'm a burning effigy
Of everything I used to be
You're my rock of empathy, my dear
Let me entertain you
Life's too short for you to die
So grab yourself an alibi
Heaven knows your mother lied
Mon cher
Separate your right from wrongs
Come and sing a different song
The kettle's on so don't be long
Mon cher
So come on let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Look me up in the yellow pages
I will be your rock of ages
Your see through fads and your crazy phrases yeah
Little Bo Peep has lost his sheep
He popped a pill and fell asleep
The dew is wet but the grass is sweet, my dear
Your mind gets burned with the habits you've learned
But we're the generation that's got to be heard
You're tired of your teachers and your school's a drag
You're not going to end up like your mum and dad
So come on let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
He may be good he may be outta sight
But he can't be here so come around tonight
Here is the place where the feeling grows
You gotta get high before you taste the lows
So come on
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you (let me entertain you)
So come on let me entertain you (let me entertain you)
Let me entertain you (let me entertain you)
Come on come on come on come on
Come on come on come on come on
Come on come on come on come on
Come on come on come on come on
Come on come on come on come on
Come on come on come on come on
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
The song "Let Me Entertain You" by Robbie Williams has a playful, upbeat tone with tongue-in-cheek lyrics that ask the listener to let loose and be entertained. The opening lines suggest a flip-flop of the traditional dichotomy of hell and heaven, encouraging the listener to let go of any fears or apprehensions and join in the fun. The chorus repeatedly asks the listener to allow Williams to entertain them, implying that he is an expert in this arena.
Throughout the song, there are several references to pop culture and societal norms. For instance, the line "Heaven knows your mother lied" implies that the listener should not take life too seriously and that adults are not always correct. The line "Your mind gets burned with the habits you've learned" may refer to the normalization of unhealthy behaviors in society. Williams suggests that breaking free from societal constraints and trying new things is the key to genuine happiness.
In the bridge section, Williams introduces the character of Little Bo Peep, who appears to be struggling with addiction, but the grass is always sweeter on the other side. This section echoes the message of the song as a whole, that sometimes it is necessary to take risks and break conventions to find true fulfillment.
Overall, "Let Me Entertain You" is a fun, lighthearted song about letting loose and embracing excitement. By poking fun at societal norms and encouraging the listener to think for themselves, Williams creates an anthem for those who want to break free from the usual mold and have some fun.

I'll never forget this concert I was there with my husband, he bought tickets for my 40th, there were over a 125,000 people attended that concert, it was blisteringly hot even at 7.30pm, no trouble just pure electricity. It was worth spending 4 hours trying to exit the field car parking at the end. I doubt Robbie will ever top this concert, it was pure magic.
