Williams has received a record 18 Brit Awards, winning Best British Male Artist four times, Outstanding Contribution to Music twice, an Icon Award for his lasting impact on British culture, eight German ECHO Awards, and three MTV European Music Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted the Greatest Artist of the 1990s. According to the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), he has been certified for 20.2 million albums and 8.66 million singles in the UK as a solo artist. Five of his albums have also topped the Australian albums chart, and has sold 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He also topped the 2000โ2010 UK airplay chart. His three concerts at Knebworth in 2003 drew over 375,000 people, the UK's biggest music event to that point. In 2014, he was awarded the freedom of his hometown of Stoke-on-Trent and had a tourist trail created and streets named in his honour. Williams' thirteenth album, XXV was released on 9 September 2022.
After 15 years, Williams rejoined Take That in 2010 to co-write and perform lead vocals on their album Progress, which became the second-fastest-selling album in UK chart history and the fastest-selling record of the century at the time. The subsequent stadium tour, which featured seven songs from Williams' solo career, became the biggest-selling concert in UK history when it sold 1.34 million tickets in less than 24 hours. In 2011, Take That frontman Gary Barlow confirmed that Williams had left the band for a second time to focus on his solo career, although he stated that the departure was amicable and that Williams was welcome to rejoin Take That in the future. Williams has since performed with Take That on three separate television appearances, and collaborated with Barlow on a number of projects such as the West End musical The Band.
Snowflakes

Eat so much, it makes us sick
Start to look just like Saint Nick
And fall down like a snowflake
Uncle Dylan's late to lunch
Nana Gwen's drank too much
My lovely wife was buzzed at brunch
We're all a bunch of snowflakes
My baby's step-dad has brought Mary-Lou
Tryin' to tell us why Trump is good for you
The table goes quiet 'cause that's what we do
We're all liberal snowflakes
My dad's new girlfriend from Taiwan
Brand new to the country and she's 21
They met online and now she's my mom
She's never seen a snowflake
'Cause they don't get no snowflakes
Once in a lonely lifetime
There'll be peace for all mankind
I went out to the world
And I was searchin' for my tribe
Now it's a family vibe
In this home of mine
The reason I'm alive
The snowflakes of mine
Mom's bringin' up the past again
And somehow World War III begins
Think I know how this one ends
I'm off to watch the snowflakes
Time won't change us, nothin' will
I know they're not perfect but I love them still
Much makes me happy but my family will
Love this bunch of snowflakes
God bless this bunch of snowflakes
Once in a lonely lifetime
There'll be peace for all mankind
I went out to the world
And I was searchin' for my tribe
Now it's a family vibe
In this home of mine
The reason I'm alive
The snowflakes of mine
All my life
A love insane
These are my people
Whoa, oh, oh, oh
Time won't change us, nothin' will
I know they're not perfect but I love them still
Not much makes me happy but my family will
I love this bunch of snowflakes
God bless this bunch of snowflakes
The song "Snowflakes" by Robbie Williams is a lighthearted and humorous take on family dynamics and the concept of being a "snowflake" in today's society. The term "snowflake" is often used to describe individuals who are seen as too sensitive or easily offended. In this song, Williams embraces the idea of being unique and different, likening his family to snowflakes, each with their own quirks and idiosyncrasies.
The lyrics portray a family gathering where various members exhibit their own eccentricities. There are mentions of overeating, drinking, political debates, and unconventional relationships. Through these anecdotes, Williams highlights the diversity within his family, acknowledging their flaws but expressing love and acceptance regardless.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the notion of unity and belonging. Williams sings about finding his "tribe" and feeling a sense of home and purpose within his family. He describes them as the reason for his existence and expresses gratitude for their presence in his life, despite their imperfections.
Overall, "Snowflakes" is a light-hearted celebration of family, embracing individuality, and finding comfort and acceptance in a group of people who may not always fit societal norms.
