Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow
Robert B. Sherman Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴

There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of every day
There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow's just a dream away

Man has a dream and that's the start
He follows his dream with mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true for you and me

So there's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of every day

There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
Just a dream away

The world needs more Walts. Not because of his theme parks or cartoons, but because of his vision and his drive.

Javier: And boundless optimism. I'm no Pollyanna, but I'm tired of everyone being so negative about things.

But Walt Disney isn’t a real person. He would say it himself.
The real Walt was a fascist apathetic dictator, who was racist and sexist.
I agree that the world can benefit from more optimism, but whenever it’s done it’s usually at the cost of honesty and a grip of reality. ie, lying.
Walt’s optimism directly contributed to the image of the United States as a great country in the 20th century, while it did horrific (Disney supported) things all over the world, that often went unnoticed thanks to the Disney image.

Codyice -- funny that your comments are exactly what Agent Fungus, above, is talked about.  Negative people who spread lies and have to try and tear down everyone and everything that's good.  Go haunted some other site.

Elon Musk's too abrasive to be seen as a Walt Disney spiritual successor. He's more in common with Edison...
