Ramblin' On My Mind
Robert Johnson Lyrics

I got ramblin', I got ramblin' on my mind
I got ramblin', I got ramblin' all on my mind
Hate to leave my baby, but you treats me so unkind

I got mean things, I got mean things all on my mind
Little girl, little girl, I got mean things all on my mind
Hate to leave you here, babe, but you treats me so unkind

Runnin' down to the station, catch the first mail train I see
I think I hear her comin' now
Runnin' down to the station, catch the old first mail train I see
I got the blues about Miss So-and-So and the child got the blues about me

And I'm leavin' this mornin', with my arm' fold' up and cryin'
And I'm leavin' this mornin', with my arm' fold' up and cryin'
Hate to leave my baby, but she treats me so unkind

I got mean things, I've got mean things on my mind
I got mean things, I got mean things all on my mind
I got to leave my baby, well, she treats me so unkind

There are 7 dislikes for this? Are people freaking insane?

Plus we’ve taken God out of our nation, Without God we become stupid!

W. H. Merrow

@Theguitarplayer shitty music is always popular no matter when you're looking at it, mainstream audiences have always been stupid

santiago luluaga

@Theguitarplayer well... isn't necessary to say that people is stupid cause the music what they listen, the taste for music or any other expression is a subjective part of us like human beens. Im agree with the fact that this (the song in the video) is a piece of music history and its regrettable see people who can't appreciate it. Anyways one things does not lead to the other.

@Clowntrooper everyone does take some inspiration, but I do believe Johnson was something special. he wrote Come on in my kitchen and that song is beyond haunting. He was and still is one of the most Important guitar players of all time. The Inspiration he got from the players who never became recognised and the world around him shine through every word and rhythm he played.

Philip Greenfield

@Clowntrooper Duly noted. Regardless the man was an amazing artist in my opinion and influenced so many other players like Clapton, Keith R, Johnny Winter and many more. They all made amazing music based on Johnson's influence

The dislikes are from people who still call blues, rock, and metal “the devil’s music.”

Nicolas Cuadra

Thomas Hanson

James Agwe
