Robert Palmer Lyrics

Since I found my friend.
And I feel so lucky
When she says she loves me
Time and time again.
And I drink your sweet wine, mmm mmm
Sends shivers down my spine.
I know we're doing fine. oh
So now, I'm gonna bet on us too.
When I'm in your caress
Contagious happiness
Mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm
Nails my conviction,
There's no more fiction
Gotta steal that time.
So, now I'll, I'll be bettin' on you
I got so lucky, when I placed my bet on you
I got so lucky, when I placed my bet on you
I got so lucky, when I placed my bet on you
The song "Lucky" by Robert Palmer describes the feeling of being fortunate to have found a true friend and lover.
