Rocketship Radio is an electronic rock band from Northern California. Formed in late 2010 by Kalani Hubbard, Dustin Ward, Logan McKern, joined in 2011 by Kevin Ohlin, their sound ranges from party pop to post rock.
Their debut EP, This is Liftoff, was released in 2010, and features a party pop / punk sound influenced by Blink 182. After Kevin Ohlin joined the band on keyboards, their sound took a turn for the electronic, and the band released their second EP, Take Flight.
In 2011, Rocketship Radio released their Christmas album, Sweater Weather, which featured a second keyboard player on piano, Brianna Ruiz.
February 2013 saw the release of their new single Like a Firefight, an epic and uplifting space rock anthem.
Rocketship radio posts weekly videos on their YouTube channel, which range from music videos and behind-the-scenes footage, to vlogs and updates about the band and from the studio.
