Quiero aclarar y explicar brevemente que la voz y la amplitud del registro de Freddie Mercury es superior a la de Mart Martel. En los 70, 80,,, las técnicas de canto de los profesores de canto no estaban a la orden del día como ocurre ahora, antiguamente no tenían profesores de canto las estrellas de Rock, como Robert Plant, Lennon, entre muchosss otros.. Freddie Mercury como muchos fans ya sabemos nunca tomó clases de canto, el fue su propio profesor de canto en cuanto a administrar su voz, tonos, ritmos etc.....
Nuestro Freddie tenía una voz prodigiosa a pesar de todo eso, padecía nódulos vocales, fumaba mucho, su enfermedad en los 80, Sida en aquellos tiempos físicamente se tenía que notar.. No creen?? Bueno a pesar de todo eso, Freddie cantaba como los angeles, como el mejor.. Se dejaba la voz en el escenario cantaba con su propia originalidad en los directos, ahora hay una técnica vocal que en aquellos tiempos no aplicaban los cantantes, Freddie aplicaba un tono vocal de sobrecarga que desgastaba mucho su voz cuando pasaba de la fase naranja a la roja en la escala (a Cristian Castro le ocurre lo mismo) a pesar de que este si haya tomado clases de canto y sepa la tecnica).
Freddie lo dejaba todo en el escenario, toda su pasión y energía!!! y se excedía involuntariamente,, y cuando se llega a esa zona roja, es el punto de no retorno de voz, es muy difícil ya dosificarla y recuperar la frescura inicial, por eso Freddie Mercury se alguna vez se quedaba en algunos trozos de alguna canción en el límite y tiraba de voz pecho (empujaba) es hay cuando tenía la carencia esa por falta de ese conocimiento técnico que no estudio por que en aquellos entonces no existían esas técnicas vocales ... No se aplicaban como ahora,, Aparte nuestro Freddie era un Showman y gastaba mucha energía en los movimientos y puesta en escena que eso también influye en la energía general y para la voz.
Ahora bien Martel es un músico con ventaja,, que obviamente como muchos como los de ahora toman clases, aprenden técnicas nuevas para obtener una técnica vocal más dosificada y administrar mejor la voz, el estudia las canciones de Queen de estudio y las interpreta (imita) en directo aplicando estas técnicas, aunque obviamente no tiene la amplitud vocal ni el rango vocal de Freddie Mercury..
Obviamente ni lo tendrá el rango vocal de Freddie Mercury..Por eso Mart Martel cuando canta canciones de Queen pierde toda su originalidad que tenía Freddie Mercury en directo, suena a imitación de canciones de estudio, nuestro Freddie sin embargo como el original que es, tenía sus propias improvisaciones y cambiaba los ritmos de las canciones a su semejanza, Mart parece un robot repetidor de canciones suyas y copia alguna improvisación de Freddie para disimular un poco..
Por eso Freddie es ireemplazable y único.
Por eso en mi opinión, y como bien dice Taylor y May Queen (no se busca imitador)..
Mart lo contrato Taylor como miembro de Queen Extravaganza para tema de musicales pero ya esta, , ahora hay otro vocalista..
Mart para temas de musicales, covers tipo homenaje pues si... Pero nada más...
Como miembro de Queen NO, la banda busca evolución a los nuevos tiempos y estilo musical propio.. May y Taylor llevan muchos años en el mundo de la música... Y tienen sus asesores musicales, marketing etc.. Jeje ellos saben lo que hacen ya..
Lambert es un artista que aporta mucha frescura al grupo y tiene su propio estilo, su publico, y muchos reconocimientos musicales a su corta edad,, por eso yo respeto y apoyo a Queen en su decisiones y tienen coherencia y lógica, hay que apoyar a Queen y no centrarse tanto en Mart,
Yo entiendo la nostalgia de mucha gente escuchando a a Mart pero todo es muy complejo y hay mucho desconocimiento, Freddie Mercury solo había uno.. Y es mejor en voz, talento interpretativo y como compositor que Mart.
