Browz started his music career as a rapper for local rap group The Uptown Kidz, when he was 12. He was soon signed to Big Boss Records which happened to get shut down a few years later. The record label left much equipment behind which Browz decided to use as a producer. He taught himself how to produce and his musical sound showed influence from DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Kay Gee and others. In 1998, he got to produce songs for Big L such as "Ebonics" and "Size 'Em Up" starting his official journey through hip hop. A couple years later, he produced the popular song "Ether" for Nas as well as a few other tracks. He soon went on to produce for everyone from Ludacris to Jae Millz allowing him to establish his own record label, Money Ave Entertainment. He has currently finished the work on "After Everything" for Amerie's new album. Ron Browz is also working on a solo venture as an artist.

Like to see you bad bitches dress up
Money On the line canβ²t be really late
I move the white girl like its ricki Lake
I need a thick chick to give me sloppo slide in the tunno el chapo
You got a crazy body ma let it go then I treat the block like magical
I was chilling in the bando getting money with my man-do man I do it for the guapo got a nigga feeling like el chapo Niggas getting money all day I do it my way you do it your way
Mommy do it nasty like OJ
I took em from the block to the arena
I took that nigga girl have you seen her
Digital scale, yeah we digital
Put some money on ya ass get rid of you
I was chilling in the bando getting money with my man-do man I do it for the guapo got a nigga feeling like el chapo Been drunk; saying stupid shit
Bout to pull up in a stupid whip
Yeah, ya nigga full of a kilo
Bout to hit up mami with the jeeto
We yallin yeah, we yallin We ballin yeah, we ballin I was chilling in the bando getting money with my man-do man I do it for the guapo got a nigga feeling like el chapo
In the first verse, Ron Browz describes his current situation in a "bando", which is a short term for "abandoned building" that drug dealers use to conduct their business. He's getting paid with his "man-do man" which translates to his friend who helps him sell drugs. He emphasizes that he does it for the "guapo" which is slang for "money" and it makes him feel powerful, like the notorious Mexican drug lord, El Chapo. He keeps a 40 caliber gun nearby, and enjoys seeing attractive women dress up. Time is precious when money is on the line, so he moves cocaine quickly with the same ease as TV host Ricki Lake. He wants a well-endowed woman to perform oral sex on him, and then he'll treat the neighborhood like magic.
In the second verse, Ron flexes his wealth and how he got it. He raps how he met someone on the street, and she's sexually adventurous like OJ Simpson. He takes her from the βblock to the arenaβ meaning he turns her into a professional providing mainstream entertainment. He boasts about owning a digital scale, which enables him to weigh out the drugs, so he is not fooled. Ron then threatens anyone who disobeys him, saying he'll "get rid of you". In the last line, he repeats himself and claims he makes money with his friend in the abandoned building.
* El Chapo was released in 2014.
* Its backing track was later reused by Browz brothers for their song "Gimme 20 Dollars" .
* The song's lyrics are in the vein of mumble rap.
* El Chapo is named after the infamous Mexican drug lord, JoaquΓn "El Chapo" GuzmΓ‘n.
* El Chapo's endorsement is probably due to his wealth and power, and the song is very much about being rich and powerful.
* The song is also inspired by the drug culture, which is apparent from the contexts used in the lyrics.
* Ron Browz was known for his auto-tuned vocals at the time, which he uses in the song.
* The song's instrumental sounds heavy due to the mix of traditional trap and heavy bassed synthesizers.
* The song's production is minimalistic, and its focus is more on the lyrics.
* Ron Browz wrote and produced El Chapo.
