Love All The Pain Away
Ronski Speed Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
In light of my fears
A scene from a movie we saw
Impressions and tears
Try for your heart
I reach for a blur
A postcard we shared in a dream
I lack the momentum
But with you I'm whole
In search of the better
Real heart real soul
Chorus:
Before we lose forever
Just needed you to know
Before we run for shelter
Let it rise don't let it go
- Love all the pain away
- Love all the pain away
The lyrics to Ronski Speed's Love All The Pain Away paint a picture of someone grappling with their fears and heartbreak, while holding onto memories of a happier time with a loved one. The first verse introduces the idea of a "box full of visions," which can be interpreted as a collection of memories or mementos. These memories are juxtaposed with the singer's fears, as they recall a "scene from a movie we saw" and feel "impressions and tears." The singer is struggling to reconcile their feelings with the reality of the situation.
In the second verse, the lyrics shift to a more personal level as the singer addresses their loved one directly with the words "Try for your heart." They are explicitly reaching out to this person, hoping to connect with them on an emotional level. The line "I lack the momentum" suggests a feeling of being stuck or unable to move forward, but the presence of the loved one makes the singer feel whole. They are searching for something better, something with a "real heart" and "real soul."
The chorus brings the themes of love, loss, and hope into sharp focus. The phrase "Love all the pain away" suggests that love is powerful enough to heal even the deepest wounds. The lyrics are pleading with the loved one to hold onto what they have, to let their love rise above the pain and not let it go. The repeated refrain "Before we lose forever" underscores the urgency of this plea. Overall, Love All The Pain Away is a song about the healing power of love, and the importance of holding onto hope even in the darkest moments.
