The classically trained Frenchman started his solo project named "Rosenfeld" in March 2018, fusing his Alternative and Rock influence with his knowledge of electronic music.
From fake AI generated speeches to songs about sex, search of oneself, grief, murder or abusive relationships, Rosenfeld always creates a dark and ambiguous atmosphere in his songs through cryptic lyrics and highly processed sounds.
2) Thrash metal act from Tokyo, Japan, formed in November 1986. Rosenfeld features vocalist/frontman Hisayoshi Hiraga as the only permanent member. In 1986 the band started out with Yasuhiro Kamei (gt), Hajime Morii (b) & Takafumi Segawa (ds). In December 1987 Kamei left the band and Rosenfeld's activities were put on hold. As a result Hisayoshi joined AION in January 1988, playing his first gig with the band on March 13th. In June 1989 he leaves the band to restart Rosenfeld, and he does so with Youichi Horizoe on guitar as a replacement for Kamei. They released two albums: "Pigs of the Empire" in 1991 and live album "In the Garden" in 1994. They also made four demo tapes across their career "Rosenfeld", "B", "Ashes to Ashes" and "demo '93".
A few member changes follow in the early 90's:
July 1990: Gish (Rapes) replaces Morii on bass & Kouichi (Rapes) replaces Segawa on drums
January 1991: Hiromi joins on guitar to become a five piece, twin guitar, band
March 1992: Hiromi and Gish leave the band after 'The God's Truth' compilation is released (3.16)
October 1992: Takami (Bellzlleb, Salamander) replaces Gish on bass and Shinji (Guilty Vice, Snaggle Tooth) replaces Hiromi on guitar
The band split-up in March 1993 due to personal difficulties. In the meantime Hisayoshi starts his new project called Skull Crusher. Rosenfeld regroups for the last time in October with Takashi Kinoshita replacing Takami on Bass and Hirofumi Ozawa replacing Kouichi on Drums so they can hold their last gigs with the final being on December 23rd 1993. But then, in 2008, the band reunited.
Among several other Japanese thrash metal bands like Rommel and Harkenkreuz, Rosenfeld had a Nazi-image. They wrote lyrics about Nazism and POW's. Rosenfeld used the imagery for shock value.

A nuclear strike
For peace
And democracy
And democracy
I have decided to launch
A nuclear strike
For peace
And democracy
(Ooh)
A nuclear strike
A nuclear strike
For peace
A nuclear strike
A nuclear strike
A nuclear strike
For peace
I've become obsolete
Like the engines I had built
Students surpassed teachers
Machines murdered makers (Ah)
(Ah)
(Ah)
I'll watch as it tumbles
Crumbles and falls
What can I do
Except going through
The mess we made
The hell we brought
Upon ourselves
Open your eyes
I have decided to launch
A nuclear strike
For peace
And democracy
And democracy
I have decided to launch
A nuclear strike
For peace
And democracy
And democracy
The opening lines of Rosenfeld's song, "The Witch," are intentionally provocative and jarring. The singer declares that they have made the decision to launch a nuclear strike, supposedly for the sake of peace and democracy. Given the horrific consequences of nuclear warfare and the legacy of destruction and suffering that persists in the wake of the only two times atomic bombs have been used (in Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II), the assertion that launching a nuclear attack could serve as a means to achieve peace and democracy is highly questionable, to say the least. The repetition of the phrase "peace and democracy" indicates a fundamental dissonance between the singer's intentions and the reality of their actions. This dissonance is further emphasized by the singer's haunting, almost mournful intonation of the line.
The second half of the song shifts away from the provocative opening lines and towards a meditation on obsolescence, decay, and tragedy. The singer reflects on the way machines and technology have systematically displaced human beings, rendering them redundant and even disposable in some cases. The lines "Students surpassed teachers / Machines murdered makers" speak to the way younger generations often outpace their predecessors in terms of technological literacy, while older generations struggle to keep up and find themselves rendered irrelevant. The imagery of machines murdering makers is equally chilling, invoking images of a world in which automation and technological progress have run amok, leaving human beings as helpless bystanders in the face of their own creations. The final lines of the song capture a sense of resignation in the face of this overwhelming technological and environmental decay, with the singer acknowledging that they can do little more than witness the "mess we made" and the "hell we brought upon ourselves."

This video is a great example of how technology in the information age is so powerful.
It can create fake speeches and stands as a reminder of how important it is to cross reference your sources of information lest you be misled.
This age of information disrupts the way power systems used to operate. Both for good and bad.
On one hand there's more information around. On the other hand there's a lot of misleading or false information that gets viewed before it can be corrected leaving people with the wrong impressions.
And as always it can be abused by parties with an agenda.
Idk just some thoughts. :p

@@RosenfeldMusic a song is more than just 3 minutes of noise, and people need to realize that. It's how we cope, it's our method of communicating, and if you have the guts to peel away the outer layers of a song and search for the reasons it made you feel so breathless; you will find a whole entire world waiting for you.
Thank you for letting me experience the most devastating, beautiful moments in your music.
