Eclipse was recorded at legendary Westlake Studios in Hollywood, California, the same studio behind albums for Michael Jackson, Alanis Morrisette, Nine Inch Nails, U2, and more. It also finds Roy collaborating with Grammy winners Andrew Scheps (Chili Peppers, Bjork, Metallica) and Tim Palmer (U2, Bowie, Cure).

The album features an impressive range of songs including high energy songs like the opening title track "Eclipse" and the serious grooves of "Hold it Together Now" and "Karma is a Boomerang." There are also new intimate performances like "Never Gonna Learn" and "Goodbye."
