2) Royal Blood was a US rock and roll band from Boston, MA. Their music ranges from noisy, spastic psychedelia to country-fried cowpunk, and probably would've fit in really well on a college radio station circa 1992. The band consisted of Brock Ginther, Michael Brierley, and Erik Magnus, who were all music nerds from Emerson College.

All We Have Is Now
Royal Blood Lyrics

No one makes it out alive
I wanna spend our lives together
While we have the time
And if there's no god to meet us
Don't be scared
Go back to where we came from
Oh, we don't need to know
All we have is now
So just let it go
When your number's called
And it's time to disappear
Have no fear 'cause you've got me
And I've got you
Right here
Right here
Right here
Right here
The lyrics to Royal Blood's song "All We Have Is Now" convey a sense of urgency and appreciation for the present moment. The first two lines reflect a somber reality - nothing lasts forever, and ultimately, no one can escape death. However, instead of dwelling on this fact, the singer chooses to focus on the present and the time they have with their loved one.
The following lines express a desire to spend their lives together while they still have the opportunity. The song suggests that rather than worrying about what lies ahead or searching for a higher power, it is more important to cherish the time they have right now.
The lyrics further address the absence of a deity or an afterlife, comforting the listener by saying there is no reason to be afraid. The line "go back to where we came from, meet you at the fair" implies that after death, the two will reunite in a place or state that is familiar and comforting.
The chorus emphasizes the idea that the present moment is all that matters - "all we have is now." It encourages the listener to let go of worries and anxieties about the future, as when our time comes to disappear, there should be no fear because we have each other. The repetition of "Right here" at the end of the lyrics solidifies the idea of being present and available for one another.
Overall, "All We Have Is Now" serves as a reminder to appreciate the present moment and the people we share our lives with, rather than getting caught up in the uncertainty of the future.

If nothing lasts forever
If everything eventually comes to an end
No one makes it out alive
Nobody escapes death
I wanna spend our lives together
I desire to share our existence with you
While we have the time
During the period we have available
And if there's no god to meet us
In the absence of a higher power greeting us
Don't be scared
Do not feel frightened
Go back to where we came from
Return to our origin
Meet you at the fair
I will reunite with you in a joyful place
Oh, we don't need to know
Oh, we are not required to understand
All we have is now
Our only possession is the present moment
So just let it go
Simply release your grip on it

Okay, I have to take a moment to tip my hat to Liam Lynch, this is fabulous.
The subtle nods to the lyrics:
"nothing lasts forever" and the title slowly fades
"cos you got me and I got you" and we meet the other side and the girl
The fact you never see either the boy or the girls face, so it could be anyone, or everyone
and then the kicker, the footprints, originally I thought it was a missed opportunity for some pretty imagery to have them follow, catch up and pass him, where he's walking, my thick as a plank of wood take xD What I didn't get until now: They're her footsteps. The imprints are the colour of the 'other side' she's walking with him all the time.
I can't thank you enough for just how beautifully this is expressed and how open the video is to interpretation and how well it shows instead of telling, let's the music be front and centre whilst being stimulating and thoughtful. Thank you RB, Thank you Liam
