They grew up on everything from grime to jazz and blues, from hip-hop to house, and state: “You can’t really box us into a category, we’re more about musicality, songwriting and broader influences. The original Rudimental trio go back a long way. Piers and Locksmith grew up on the same road in Hackney, with Kesi living just around the corner in Stoke Newington, where he went to the same school as Labrinth and Professor Green. Amir joined the collective in mid-2011 after working with them on some remixes.

I think every single colour in the video is representing a certain group within society, but they all are somehow linked to each other and mixed in the end. And so are colours wherever you are: in a shop, a busy street in a city... Prejudices are just a barrier for us. We are equal, whether we want it or not. And I love that.

And to elaborate on that, all of the colours we are able to see, mixed up makes shades of brown, which is what we are as shown at 04:02 . All of the different colours that we are inside makes us who we are as a collective species.

Remember my room mate in Ibiza playing this on repeat of his iPhone 5S in our shared apartment in Ibiza in 2016 , without fail it was playing before we went to the club and after , never asked him what the track was .
