I don't have the same talents as Irving Berlin to craft a perfect composition from the very beginning

My song, though a poet would never OK,
My song may not be good enough for critics or poets to approve of

My song, still you know what I'm striving to say.
But hopefully, you can understand the message I'm trying to convey

My words may be crude; the tune may be wrong,
My lyrics might be simple, and the melody may not be perfect

But you'll find my heart in my song.
However, you will find my heart and my sincere intentions within the song
