Jo and Ryan have performed the song at the True Colors LGBT Youth Conference on March 22 and at St. John The Divine for the first ever Spirit of Pride: Queer First Celebration curated by The Trevor Project. The video for the "Define Me" has reached over 133,000 views in its five months on youtube and was featured in the Huffington Post.

Still Waiting

Where do YOU fall on the spectrum of sexuality? of sexuality?
and i can truly swear that
every love I share is a real thing
yeah man it's a good thing
and it's buried deep, it's a part of me
it's a true thing; it's inside of me
everyone loves someone regardless of their gender,
everyone loves a man and woman somewhere,
so why would you think there's nothing there?
Where do YOU fall on the spectrum of sexuality? of sexuality?
Where do YOU fall on the spectrum of sexuality? of sexuality?
what in nature moves linearly?
planets and seasons move circularly
what in nature is really black and white?
flowers and twilight share every shade of light
every man loves a man; every woman loves a woman,
so why would you think that love's inhuman?
every life wants to love and wants love in return,
so why would you want that love to burn?
Where do YOU fall on the spectrum of sexuality? of sexuality?
Where do YOU fall on the spectrum of sexuality? of sexuality?
love is a gift from the powers on high
it gets rid of pain when you can't get by
and when you're facing terror,
you're scared for your life
love is something greater that can make it right
and it's a colder world if you can't love you want
take it from yourself to choose your love
no I don't want to see the same old script
it's like every child's taught to be the same old kid
I like to think of my god as an artist
who'd paint me with a pallet of multi-chromomatics
so let's systematically remove the dogma
there's more than two ways you can reach a climax
and on the spectrum of your sexuality
let's find respect for individuality
this train's a comin' like it was in the 60's
so hop on the scale and we'll weigh ya like Kinsey

The lyrics of Ryan Amador's song Still Waiting are an appeal for individuals to embrace their true selves, regardless of where they fall on the spectrum of sexuality. The singer encourages listeners to accept the natural and inherent nature of love, which transcends gender and sexual orientation. Moreover, the lyrics suggest a departure from the traditional and rigid understanding of sexual identity, a measurement that erodes individuality and self-expression. The song suggests that love is a gift, a tool that has the power to heal, to bring people together, and to promote respect for others.
One of the key themes in the lyrics is the idea of respect for individuality. The song stresses that love is not confined to only certain gender or sexual identities, but rather that it is a universal feeling. Ryan Amador advises that people should focus on what they have in common rather than on their differences. The song promotes a sense of openness and a positive, accepting outlook on life.
Another significant subject in the song is the challenge to traditional dogma. Ryan Amador's song espouses the belief that the measure of one's sexual identity should not be confined to binary categories. Instead, the song advocates an acceptance of diversity and a respect for individual freedom of expression. The song challenges old norms and beliefs, emphasizing the need for people to embrace their identities and to be true to themselves.
